Amazon cuts prices of Ecovacs and Eufy robot vacuums in time for Presidents Day

Whether or not you make a big deal of Presidents Day, most of us would be jumping at the mere idea of an extra day out of work to do things we actually enjoy. Dragging a vacuum around may not count as anyone’s favorite activity which is a good thing that robot vacuums have come to exist to take over the necessary but mundane task of keeping your floors clean. With so many options available, you wouldn’t have to spend a fortune to get the most out of an automated clean. Right now, you can even bank on savings up to $90 when you order either Ecovacs’ Deebot 500 or Eufy’s BoostIQ RoboVac 11S (Max). You might even get to slash $50 more on top of their sale prices when you’re approved for an Amazon Rewards Visa card.

With a height of only 3.1 inches, the Deebot 500 sports a low profile to glide under furniture, and its large wheels can climb thresholds like doorsills or carpets. You won’t have to be worrying about switching gears from cleaning hard floors, you can just employ max mode to double its suction power to relieve your carpets of ground-in dirt. With anti-collision and anti-drop sensors, it is smart enough to work around obstacles and prevent itself from falling off the edge, while durable bumpers are in place for ample shock absorption.

You might dread vacuuming as much as everyone else but Ecovacs’ Deebot 500 is always ready to clean for up to 110 minutes before it goes back to its dock to recharge. Rest assured, it picks up where it left off and with three cleaning modes that have varying suction intensity. On Auto mode, the Deebot 500 completely relies on its sensors for an optimized clean. Edge mode will have it scope the room’s perimeter while Spot mode is great when you want it to focus on a particular area as it cleans in a spiral pattern. And for really troublesome messes, you would be able to put it on Max mode for twice the suction power. Its two side brushes and main brush effectively sweep and lift small to large debris to deep clean an entire floor of your home.

If you have furry friends living with you, Ecovacs Deebot 500 tries to match up with an anti-scratch finish on its exterior and high-efficiency filters to help with all that shedding. This also makes for quiet and easy operation. Being a smart device in itself, it is compatible with voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant, as much as it is programmable through the control button up top, full-function remote, or through the Ecovacs Home app.

Snag this chance to get the Ecovacs Deebot 500 for only $200 instead of $280 on Amazon.

Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S (Max) — $180 ($90 off)

If you want a bot that can clean without deafening your ears, then Eufy’s BoostIQ RoboVac 11S (Max) might just be what ticks all the right boxes for less than Deebot 500 costs. It may be slimmer at only 2.85 inches but you sure won’t be missing out on versatile cleaning modes or a three-point clean that loosens, extracts, and vacuums dirt. And as the “Max” moniker suggests, you’re in store for an unbeatable suction power of 2,000 Pa, BoostIQ technology just puts the icing on the cake as it increases automatically increases suction power within 1.5 seconds when extra vacuuming strength is needed to get the best clean. You can also count its advanced brushless motor as one of its prime features as it makes for a quiet but thorough clean. You might still hear it but wouldn’t be nearly as loud as your microwave or enough for you to have trouble hearing the person you’re conversing with.

The RoboVac 11S (Max) isn’t picky about the kind of floors it cleans for a period of 100 minutes on standard suction mode, 60 minutes when BoostIQ is employed, and 40 minutes on Max mode. Large wheels help it rollover ledges and medium-pile carpets while a triple-filter system guarantees micro-particles you don’t even see won’t escape its 0.6-liter dust bin. Its large capacity means it won’t require frequent emptying as much as it calls for zero attention with 10 built-in infrared sensors that make it aware of its surroundings. Though it treads lightly, its best to keep wires or socks out of its way to prevent it from getting stuck.

For a robot vacuum that is priced below $200, Eufy did a good job at packing all the right features in the slim but ultra-competent RoboVac 11S (Max). Like most of its contemporaries, it is wired to return to its charging base when its low on juice and comes with cleaning tools including four side brushes, an extra set of unibody filters, and five cable ties. The only drawback it could have is the absence of app support but that doesn’t mean you have to bend down all the time to spark it to life. The remote would save you the hassle and the batteries it needs are already provided.

Usually priced at $270, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S (Max) can be tasked to rid your floors of dirt for as low as $180.

Nintendo Switch Lite just got an incredibly rare price cut
nintendo switch lite review comfort

The Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular gaming platforms of the last decade, and because of it Nintendo Switch deals can be hard to come by. Today, however, you can save on the Nintendo Switch Lite, which is marked down from $200 to $179 at Walmart. This deal makes for a savings of $21 and free shipping is included, but if you’re willing to spend a little more you can save a little more, as at Woot!, which makes for a savings of $30 from its regular price of $350.

Why you should buy the Nintendo Switch Lite
Nintendo has released several different Switch models, with the Switch OLED being the choice for a high quality screen and the Switch Lite being where you should turn if you want ultimate portability on the Switch platform. It’s designed exclusively for handheld play, making the Switch experience something you can do just about anywhere. This is the smallest of all of the Switch models, which makes it easy to tuck away into a backpack or travel bag,, and which makes it unobtrusive if you like to sneak some gameplay in on the morning bus ride or walk to work. Despite its size it’s still fully capable in tackling the best Switch games.

Watch Haney vs Garcia live stream: PPV time, price, undercard
Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia on a promotional poster that says "This one counts."

"Tumultuous" might be the best word to describe the lead up to Devin Haney vs. Ryan Garcia. Garcia has taken his unhinged persona to the next level, and instead of debating CompuBox statistics and knockout percentages, everyone is talking about the whirlwind of a fight week. Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs) barked like a dog at his press conference. Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) slapped Garcia on top of the Empire State Building. The crazy fight week build up culminated with Garcia missing weight by over three pounds, meaning he is no longer eligible to win Haney's WBC World Super Lightweight belt.

But the show must go on, and the two will meet in the squared circle on tonight, April 20. Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia is about to start, at 8:00 p.m. ET, and will stream on DAZN PPV. There are four fights on the card before that, so the main bout is estimated to start around 11:00 p.m. ET. Keep reading for everything you need to know to watch boxing online this weekend.
