This one is a little tricky since you might not typically use pistols, harvesting tools, or grenades during a match. However, the Sidearm Pistol is actually severely underrated and deals tremendous damage, especially to the head. For this quest, you need to deal 500 damage with the aforementioned weapons, which will likely take multiple matches. Prioritize using the Sidearm Pistol if possible to make this quest much easier.

Damage opponents with ranged weapons while riding wildlife (200)

A ranged weapon is an assault rifle, sniper, or battle rifle. So, we recommend picking whichever you’re most comfortable with. We like the Cobra DMR, but as long as you can hit your shots, you can use any ranged weapon you’d like. The nice thing about this quest is that you can actually deal damage to NPCs and even Supply Llamas around the map, meaning you don’t have to strictly rely on shooting real players. After you’ve dealt 200 damage, you’ll complete this quest.

Deal damage to opponents at Loot Lake (200)

Loot Lake is marked on the map above. This is typically a high-traffic area anyway, but now that it’s home to a quest, expect to come across even more players. There are a few different ways to complete this quest, such as by damaging NPCs, Loot Sharks, or real players. You don’t need to deal all 200 damage in one match.

Enter a Chrome Vortex (1)

Chrome Vortexes are the massive tornadoes found in Chrome areas like Herald’s Sanctum. The map actually tells you where to find Chrome Vortexes, so be sure to check it to see where the closest one is. The best way to complete this quest is to land beside the Chrome Vortex after jumping from the Battle Bus. You simply need to touch the Vortex to earn credit for this one, so once the notification appears, you’re free to glide wherever you’d like.

Pick fruit from Reality Saplings (3)

Reality Saplings were introduced a couple of seasons ago, serving as an interesting mechanic that gives players items over the course of multiple matches. We recommend heading to the east of Rave Cave, where you’ll find a few Reality Saplings — but they’re still found in various spots around the map. Plant them in a safe spot, finish the match, and you should see some fruit on the tree.

Search Chrome Chests at Flutter Barn or Shiny Sound (5)

Flutter Barn and Shiny Sound are marked on the map above, so do your best to land by those locations to prioritize opening Chrome Chests. You need to open five, which is certainly possible in one match, but don’t worry if you come up short, as this one is cumulative. Remember, you need to open Chrome Chests, not regular ones.

Use a Dial-A-Drop in different matches (3)

Dial-A-Drops are found in chests and as floor loot around the map and can be used to spawn a Drop from the sky. However, currently, these items are bugged and actually do not spawn in-game. It’s unclear if Epic Games will add them or simply replace the quest with something else, but for now, you can’t complete this one, sadly.

One of Steam's biggest success stories of 2026 has suddenly found itself at the center of a security scare. A security researcher has discovered that a community-made Meccha Chameleon Workshop map contained code designed to write files outside the game and launch a hidden PowerShell process that attempted to download an additional payload from an external server.

If you've been curious about Xbox Cloud Gaming but didn't want another monthly subscription, Microsoft may have a new option for you. The company is testing a free, ad-supported version of Xbox Cloud Gaming for Xbox Insiders, allowing eligible players to stream select games they already own without a Game Pass membership.

However, you'll have to watch a short advertisement before your session begins. Microsoft says the ads will never interrupt gameplay, making this an early test of whether a simple tradeoff can bring cloud gaming to more players.

Lenovo's LOQ 17 gets a new RTX 5070 12GB graphics option
LOQ 17 gaming laptop

Lenovo has expanded its LOQ gaming laptop lineup with a new graphics option. The company has introduced a refreshed version of the LOQ 17IRX10, pairing Intel's Core i7-14700HX processor with Nvidia's newly announced GeForce RTX 5070 12GB laptop GPU. The update gives buyers another configuration to choose from without changing the overall design or feature set of the laptop.

The new variant joins Lenovo's existing LOQ 17IRX10 lineup, which was previously available with GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5070 8GB graphics options. While the chassis remains unchanged, the addition of a 12GB RTX 5070 brings more VRAM to the series, a specification that has become increasingly important as modern AAA games demand larger texture caches and higher memory capacity.
