Klipsch has just taken the wraps off its new Compact Performance (CP) series, taking the company and its efficient speakers in a new direction: outside.
The series includes the CP-4 ($250/pair) and CP-6 ($350/pair), which lean toward residential use, and the more commercially focused CP-4T ($300) and CP-6T ($430) — all four pairs, however, are interchangeable and will function perfectly fine in both home and commercial environments, be it in the backyard or in a shopping mall.
Each model comes standard with Klipsch’s hallmark proprietary Tractrix Horn technology — the horn is intended to provide low-distortion clarity and detailed treble, while the long-throw woofers handle the low frequency response with power. 
Maximum output with minimum wattage is the name of Klipsch’s game.
Installation is a frustration-less, one-screwdriver process, with both front speaker wire terminals and front access bracket connections. The brackets can be adjusted 45 degrees in either direction without the need for additional tools. Each model can be snugly mounted into a corner thanks to their V-shaped rear profile, enabling aesthetically easy-on-the-eyes presentation in offices and living rooms alike.
All models are available in paintable black or white finishes with matching grilles and weather-resistant reinforced cabinets. They’re also equipped with dual quarter-inch , 20-thread inserts on the back for compatibility with third-party brackets and/or safety cables in commercial settings.
Each model in the Klipsch CP Series is sold as a pair, and all are available now through authorized dealers — right on time for bumpin’ office parties and celebrating the end of winter with a springtime barbeque in your backyard.
