First Android Phone to Launch Next Month?

After nearly a year of speculation, beta testing and rumors building around Google’s open-source Android mobile operating system, the first commercial phone to carry it as an operating system will soon see the light of day. According to an article in Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal, the phone will appear on T-Mobile next month.

As expected, the phone, which has now been dubbed the Dream, will be manufactured by HTC. According to the Journal’s “people familiar with the matter,”  the phone will copy the iPhone’s enormous touch screen, but also add a flip-out QWERTY keyboard and BlackBerry-style trackball navigation device, which will make it heavier than its Apple competitor.

The Journal predicts an announcement on Sept. 23, followed by the phone shipping as early as late October.

Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 15 Pro.

In the early days of the iPhone, one of the most popular accessories was the Mophie Juice Pack battery case. This was one of the first and original battery cases for the iPhone that would extend the battery life of your phone to help you get through the day. The Mophie Juice Pack became a staple for many people and spawned numerous copycats, but once Apple introduced MagSafe with the iPhone 12 line, it seemed like the need for battery cases dissipated. In fact, it has been a few years since Mophie last released a Juice Pack case for the iPhone. But the Mophie Juice Pack has finally returned, and it’s currently available for the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

How to find your phone number on iPhone or Android
Someone holding up an iPhone 14 to their ear.

Let's face it: Most of us don't call our own phones very often. If you're like most people, this means you probably don't know your own phone number off-hand, especially if you rarely give it out to people or haven't had it for long, such as after setting up a new account or changing your number after moving to a new town.

To make things even more complicated, many modern smartphones let you set up more than one line using an eSIM, which gives you more than one number to remember.
