The company aims to prove that just because this card is small, doesn’t mean it won’t pack a punch. Factory overclocked to 1253MHz, the GTX 960 will feature 2GB of GDDR5 RAM, 1024 CUDA cores, and something the company calls “Super Alloy Power,” which will supposedly help to keep operations 20 percent cooler and quieter during daily use or at load.

Connectivity options will be just as plentiful as what you’d expect from a full-sized offering, including one DVI-I, one HDMI, and three DisplayPort 1.2.
The card is designed to cater to the rapidly growing mini-PC market, which has seen a boom of business over the past year as consumers look for better ways to get the most potential out of computers that take up the least amount of real estate.

The upcoming Phantom One is a great example of this trend. That PC, seeking funding on Kickstarter, showcases one of Nvidia’s other miniaturized cards which recently hit the market, the 4GB GTX 970 from MSI.
No word on pricing or availability yet, though with the press release already up on Asus’ site, one can imagine it’s only a matter of time before we can expect the card to drop.
