Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Collector’s Edition unboxing

Uncharted is one of the marquee franchises for Sony’s PlayStation 3, and many would claim that it is the best franchise on Sony’s system. Even if for some reason you hate the series, it is hard to deny that Naughty Dog’s Nathan Drake, as voiced exceptionally well by actor Nolan North, is one of the most well-known characters of this generation of consoles. This is also the series that gave us Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, widely considered one of the best games on the PS3 and on any current generation console out there. Some even consider it one of the best games ever made, and it is hard to argue that it at least belongs in the discussion. So it’s fitting that the collector’s edition for the third would offer something special.

Naughty Dog and Sony teamed with Sideshow Collectibles to create a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception for the PS3. It comes in a sizable package and is filled with some fun things for fans of the series.

There doesn’t seem to be anything special for the game itself with the Collector’s Edition in terms of digital downloads, but it does come with codes for the Online Pass, as well as early access to the Starhawk beta (but those also come with normal editions of the game as well).

The Collector’s Edition includes:

  • The Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception game
  • Collector’s Edition steelbook to hold the game
  • A wearable version of Drake’s belt buckle
  • A wearable version of Drake’s ring with necklace strap
  • Nathan Drake statue created by Sideshow Collectibles
  • Traveling Chest packaging

The Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Collector’s Edition is available on November 1, and runs $99.99.
