“The Nokia N8 has received the highest amount of consumer pre-orders in Nokia history and we are thrilled to start shipments of the N8, the first of Nokia’s new Symbian smartphone range,” said Jo Harlow, senior vice president of smartphones for Nokia.

According to Nokia, customers who pre-ordered the phone will have first priority in receiving it.

Nokia has banked a lot on the release of the N8. One of the phone’s most impressive features is its 12-megapixel camera, which might just give traditional point and shoots a run for their money. Additionally, the N8 includes 720p video, Wi-Fi, 16GB on-board storage expandable by microSD, HD-video plus HDMI-out for watching on the big screen, GPS navigation via OVI Maps and multi-tasking.

Friends, we are well into the best time of the year: football season. The Lions are off to an incredible start, the Vikings look dangerously good, and I'm continually amazed by how bad the Browns are.

The 2024 season has been a lot of fun. Not only have the games been entertaining, but I've also had a much better time following the latest plays and scores on my phone. Today, news broke about its successor, the Galaxy A56 — and it's both good and bad.

According to Galaxy Club, the Galaxy A56 will get a new front-facing camera and do away with the 32MP one that's been the same since the Galaxy A51. This is good news as the 32MP camera is outdated, to say the least. The Galaxy A56 could get a 12MP front-facing camera, even possibly the same sensor used in the Galaxy S line.
