From now until February 15, you can grab a one-month subscription to All Access for only $5, which is $5 off of the normal $10 price. You can also opt for a longer subscription for either three months for $15 or six months for $30.
All Access includes commercial-free and unlimited access to Google’s complete library of songs and albums. What’s even more awesome is the fact that an All Access subscription includes YouTube Red as well. YouTube Red eliminates ads, offers background playback, allows you to save videos for offline playback, and gives you access to YouTube Red Originals.
You can certainly get this deal for yourself, but Google makes it easy to purchase a subscription for someone special in your life. It’s as simple as entering their Gmail address, a personal message, and of course paying for it.
The recipient will receive an email about the gift, which they will need to use to redeem their present. Once redeemed, they will have access to Google Play Music for the time period purchased. They don’t have to worry about cancelling before the subscription runs out since your card will not be charged when it ends. According to the Terms of Agreement, recipients will be given a chance to subscribe at the normal rate or the subscription content will terminate.
It also appears that you can stack this deal, as in purchase multiple subscriptions for the same person. We can’t confirm this first hand, but Slick Deals users are reporting success in doing so. The same Terms of Agreement states: “Users will only be able to redeem subscription gifts until their account accrues up to a total of five (5) years of subscriptions at any one time.” This means that you can buy multiple six-month subscriptions for up to a total of five years. Keep in mind that you’ll lose your money if Google decides to discontinue the Play Music service in the future.
Even better news is that you can use this deal even if you’re a current subscriber to All Access. Just redeem the offer, and your monthly rate will go back to normal once the discounted subscription ends. It’s not clear what would happen if you’re one of the lucky few that got in on the $8 per month plan when All Access was initially launched however. One thing Google does make clear is that subscribers of YouTube Music Key, which includes All Access, are not be eligible for this offer.
