Humor is very personal, but some things are just universally funny. We’re sure that you have your favorite YouTube videos for turning a frown upside down, but these are ours. Some of them are insanely popular, while others have dropped beneath the radar, but all of them are sure to bring on the giggles.

Linguists around the world continue to work on deciphering this long-dead language that even the speakers couldn’t translate, now that they’ve come of age. We may never know what they said, but it was clearly important and worth remembering fondly.

In this clip from the popular show, Alison Rich drunkenly narrates the story of famous author Agatha Christie’s mysterious disappearance. While Rich narrates, the audience is treated to a hilarious reenactment of the story in which actors like Kirsten Dunst lip-sync along with the drunk narrator’s speech.

History of the entire world, I guess

It’s rare to find 20 minutes of anything that will make you laugh consistently, especially on YouTube. But this one had us tittering throughout much of its lengthy length.

Taylor Swift — I knew you were trouble ft. screaming goat

The punchline’s really in the title for this one, but somehow it’s still hilarious every time. Bonus points for Katy Perry also teaming up with our goat pals.

Ron sneezes and scares deer

This is one of those that somehow manages to get funnier every time you loop it until you’re absolutely losing your mind laughing at it. It’s not the deer that’s great, but Ron’s poor wife’s disappointment and his indignation.

If Google took over Microsoft

This one might be funnier to us because we cover people like this for a living… but seriously, They all sound like this.

BBC Breakfast — Mike Bushell falls into a pool

Poor Mike. He was just trying to protect his mic from getting wet. That one was a fail.

One decade we long to go back to is the 1990’s. Even after almost a decade after this exquisitely produced cover made its YouTube première, it still manages to get the audience laughing hysterically. While the thumbnail itself is enough to give you a hearty chuckle, the fantastic dancing is the real cherry on top.
