A&E is one of the most popular networks on TV these days, calling itself home to hits like Duck Dynasty and Storage Wars. If you’re a A&E addict and you’re running a Windows 8 PC, then you have to get your hands on the network’s official app, which provides you with access to an absolute boatload of the network’s content for free. That’s right: nothing, nada, zilch.

According to the app’s official description, you can watch the latest season of Shipping Wars and hours of Duck Dynasty, Storage Wars, and The First 48. However, you can only stream content if you’re located in the United States. On top of that, it doesn’t seem like content gets added daily, as is the case with the official app for Lifetime TV. While the official description for Lifetime’s app explicitly states that new content is added daily, the one for the A&E app says that new content is added “all the time.” So, keep that in mind.

Like the Lifetime TV app, the A&E app lets you create a custom watch list. Through this app, you can watch “exclusive clips,” along with deleted scenes from A&E shows that have (supposedly) never been aired on TV. Juicy!

With the app, you can log into it via your official cable TV subscription, if you have one. IF you choose to do so, you can watch A&E broadcasts live, and you’ll gain access to even more content. However, you’re not required to do so. This is just a bonus in case you’re already a paying customer.

Either way, if you’re an A&E addict, you should get in on this an download the network’s official app ASAP.

I’m a die-hard Windows fan, but the M1 Mac Mini converted me
Apple Mac Mini M1 sitting on a desk.

I am not going to lie. I am a die-hard Windows fan. I love my Surface Laptop Studio, and I'm tuned in to every new update to Windows 11. It's not that I don't dip out of the Microsoft ecosystem from time to time, but I always find myself drawn back to its familiar embrace.

But then, the M1 Mac Mini came around. I sold my own old MacBook Pro and "traded up" to the M1 Mac Mini, eager to test out the latest hardware for myself. As much as it feels like heresy to say, this little machine has made me a believer after just two months.
The performance is amazing

Your Phone in Windows 11 now shows recent apps
A laptop sits on a desk with a Windows 11 wallpaper.

Microsoft's latest feature aims to create better integration between Samsung and Windows devices by allowing users to access their recent Android apps through the System Tray on Windows 11 and Windows 10.

The feature displays a "Your Phone" icon in the System Tray on the Windows desktop, allowing users to see the last applications recently accessed through their phone. Selecting any of the recent icons will then project the application on the desktop while it is running natively on the smartphone. There is also an option for users to pull up all of their mobile applications to view on their Windows device.

How to uninstall Windows 10 and downgrade to Windows 8.1
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 windows 10

Windows 10 has been a critical success since its release, but if you need or want to revert to an older version of Windows, you can uninstall Windows 10 and downgrade to Windows 8.1 or even Windows 7.

Be aware, though, that new computers (especially tablets) may contain components that weren’t manufactured when older Windows versions like Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 were being sold. This might mean that if you downgrade, you'll run into driver issues, and your display, keyboard, and networking might not work right.
