Win a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition!

We meet again, possible contest winners. Over the last few weeks, we have been giving away games for various systems, and we have no intention of stopping. We’re mad with the giving spirit! MAD! Next week, we may give away all the furniture in the CEOs office! (Just kidding, please don’t fire us.)

Thus far we have given away Nintendo 3DS and PS3 games, so it’s time to look at the Xbox 360. And what game better defines the Xbox than Halo?

Last November, Microsoft celebrated the 10th anniversary of the release of Halo: Combat Evolved for the original Xbox by remastering the game and re-releasing it. The Anniversary Edition featured the original game with shiny new HD graphics (in 3D as well), online co-op play, and a whole bunch of new multiplayer options. It was once of the best games on the original Xbox, and the Anniversary Edition reminded us all why. You can read our full review here.

So here’s how you can enter for a chance to win: simply post as a comment below and let us knowwho your favorite developer/publisher is and why. Last week we asked what games you would like us to cover more, and this week we want to know who your favorite developer/publishers are for the same reason. Let us know what developers/publisher you want us to feature more often, and we will.

So that’s it. Post a comment below for a chance to win a copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition for the Xbox 360. Contest ends on Friday. This contest is not limited to the US, but while the game should be region free, we cannot guarantee it.

Good luck to all!

If you would like to be in the know on the next game giveaways be sure to keep an eye on the DT gaming section, “like” DT on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or subscribe to our writers’ (just hit the subscribe button next to their name in the byline).

{Congratulations to our winner, “NYCBGALL021”!  Keep checking back for more contests, we have plenty more to give away}

Best gaming headset deals: PS5, Xbox and PC
The Razer Nari Ultimate gaming headset with a gaming PC.

If you want to go online and do a serious bit of gaming, especially in a multiplayer game, then grabbing yourself one of the best gaming headsets out there is probably the way to go. Of course, going for a high-end gaming headset can be expensive, but there are some great options in the mid and budget-range that you could grab instead. That will help you save a little extra while still getting a relatively good experience, which is why we've gone out and found our favorite gaming headset deals to save you a bit of trouble. Also, while you're here, you may want to check out these great video game deals to stock up on some games.
Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50 wired gaming headset — $25, was $36

The Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50 wired gaming headset is one of the most affordable options in the market right now, but it has most of what you would need from a gaming headset. It’s equipped with high-quality 40mm speakers and an adjustable high-sensitivity microphone that will make your voice loud and clear when you talk. You can also remove the microphone when you’re not using it, and there are in-line controls in the Turtle Beach Ear Force Recon 50’s cable for volume and muting the microphone.

The best Power Armor in Fallout 4 and where to find each set
Fallout 4 key art featuring the power armor suit hung up in an armory.

From the very first Fallout game, the Power Armor has been every wastelander's dream to pilot. This hulking suit of armor can make your normally squishy Vault Dweller nigh unkillable in Fallout 4. But there's more than just one type of Power Armor, and each one has different stats and requirements to wear. Not only that, but some you might find one piece at a time and need to build yourself, while others can be found as a complete set. If you want to make even a Deathclaw think twice about attacking you, only the best Power Armor will do. Here are the best suits in Fallout 4 and where to find them.
Raider Power Armor

This is the only Power Armor in Fallout 4 that even a base-level player can wear right off the bat. While that's great, it does mean it's the weakest option out there. The best stats you can get with it are 500 damage resistance, 250 energy resistance, and 1,050 radiation resistance for a total rating of 1,800. It's great for the early game if you can snag one, but is quickly outclassed by everything else on this list. A guaranteed spawn for this armor is in the cave right beside Skylanes Flight 1665 on your map.

3 great Xbox Game Pass titles you should try this weekend (April 26-28)
The current gen version of Fallout 4.

This has been a pretty busy week for new releases, with the likes of Another Crab’s Treasure, Stellar Blade, Sand Land, and more coming out. Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s video game subscription service, has also had quite a busy week. Three games in particular stand out as must-plays this weekend for those who want to delve a bit further into the service rather than spend money on a new game.

One is an excellent single-player Star Wars game from 2023 that you might have missed because of how busy last year was for big releases. Another is a new real-time strategy game that earned buzz on Steam in the lead-up to its release. Finally, there’s a Bethesda Game Studios classic that just received an Xbox Series X update that you can experience free of charge via Game Pass. If you're looking for a new game to start this weekend, but don't feel like buying something new, give any of these a try.
