The league’s official streaming service will also be carrying the Home Run Derby, but there’s no free version of MLB.TV. While you reportedly don’t need a Premium subscription to MLB.TV to watch the 2014 Home Run Derby, a regular account will still run you $19.99 per month, or $69.99 for the rest of the season.

Major League Baseball’s own app will also carry the 2014 Home Run Derby. According to Gotta Be Mobile, you’ll be able to watch the event on your smartphone or tablet for free. The app itself costs you nothing, so all you have to do is head over to the Google Play or iOS app store, and grab the app. If you own a microUSB to HDMI cable, you can hook up your mobile device to your TV or laptop by plugging it into your HDMI port, and watch it that way.
