Forza Motorsport 6: Apex fans can now experience Germany’s legendary Nürburgring track as part of the game’s latest paid expansion for Windows 10.

Microsoft revealed that players can get access to all current Apex content by purchasing the newly launched Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Premium Edition, which includes the full version of the game and three expansion packs.

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is a Windows 10 port of developer Turn 10 Studios’ Xbox One racing game Forza Motorsport 6, and serves as the first free-to-play entry in the long-running series. Compared to its Xbox One predecessor, Apex offers few playable tracks and vehicles at the outset, though players can unlock additional in-game content by purchasing paid expansion packs.

Starting this week, Forza series veterans can take on the toughest race course Germany has to offer with the new Nürburgring downloadable content. Originally bundled for free with previous Forza series releases for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, the Nürburgring is exclusively available as a paid extra within the free-to-play world of Apex.

Nürburgring promises a lengthy challenge for the cost, however, as the full-length course takes place over a grueling stretch of nearly 18 miles. Players who purchase the DLC also have the option of racing shorter routes, which range from a two-mile warmup loop to the track’s infamous 14-mile north loop.

Also available for Forza Motorsport 6: Apex this week are two new car packs, each of which adds a selection of seven specialized vehicles to player garages. The new Power to Weight Car Pack includes the 2016 Ford Mustang GT350R, the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, the 2013 SRT Viper GTS, the 2013 Caterham Superlight R500, the 2013 KTM X-Bow R, and the 2014 BAC Mono.

The Hyper Endurance Car Pack, meanwhile, boasts simulated versions of the 2016 No. 66 Ford Racing GT LeMans, the 2013  No. 91 SRT Motorsport GTS-R Viper, the 2016 Nissan No. 1 Nismo Motul Autech GT-R, the 2014 Mazda No. 70 SpeedSource Lola B12/80, the 2015 Koenigsegg One:1, the 2012 Hennessey Venom GT, and the 2013 Lamborghini Veneno.

Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is available as a free download for Windows 10 via the Windows Store. This week’s new content packs can be purchased individually or all at once via the Forza Motorsport 6: Apex Premium Edition Bundle, priced at $17.

One of Steam's biggest success stories of 2026 has suddenly found itself at the center of a security scare. A security researcher has discovered that a community-made Meccha Chameleon Workshop map contained code designed to write files outside the game and launch a hidden PowerShell process that attempted to download an additional payload from an external server.

If you've been curious about Xbox Cloud Gaming but didn't want another monthly subscription, Microsoft may have a new option for you. The company is testing a free, ad-supported version of Xbox Cloud Gaming for Xbox Insiders, allowing eligible players to stream select games they already own without a Game Pass membership.

However, you'll have to watch a short advertisement before your session begins. Microsoft says the ads will never interrupt gameplay, making this an early test of whether a simple tradeoff can bring cloud gaming to more players.

Lenovo's LOQ 17 gets a new RTX 5070 12GB graphics option
LOQ 17 gaming laptop

Lenovo has expanded its LOQ gaming laptop lineup with a new graphics option. The company has introduced a refreshed version of the LOQ 17IRX10, pairing Intel's Core i7-14700HX processor with Nvidia's newly announced GeForce RTX 5070 12GB laptop GPU. The update gives buyers another configuration to choose from without changing the overall design or feature set of the laptop.

The new variant joins Lenovo's existing LOQ 17IRX10 lineup, which was previously available with GeForce RTX 5050, RTX 5060, and RTX 5070 8GB graphics options. While the chassis remains unchanged, the addition of a 12GB RTX 5070 brings more VRAM to the series, a specification that has become increasingly important as modern AAA games demand larger texture caches and higher memory capacity.
