Diablo 3 headed to consoles?

It still isn’t clear exactly when we can expect to see Diablo 3 other than the vague hopes of late 2011, but when it comes out, it may be on consoles as well as PC. The news is based on a posting by Blizzard on Gamasutra for a console producer, which was first seen by Tom’s Hardware.

The exact job post is looking for a “Senior Producer, Console Diablo III”. The job is full time with the Diablo team, and specifically requests that candidates have experience with console game development. The listing also requires a minimum of four years of experience in the video game industry, and candidates must have been listed in a senior producer role on “at least one AAA console title”(AAA titles are developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3, AA are Wii, and single A are for PSP and DS).

So it looks like Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers will have the chance to play Diablo 3! Someday, probably. Sadly, the post does not say what timetable the candidate would need to work under. Not that it should, but it would have been nice to read something like “candidate must complete work by November 15”, or maybe “candidate must be willing to work long hours until December 6”. All indications point to a 2011 release for Diablo 3, so here’s hoping.

The Division 3: release date speculation, news, and rumors
division 2 e3 2018 raids dlc the

For many fans of looter-shooters, it's hard to find a series quite as compelling as The Division. With two successful games in the franchise already under its belt, Ubisoft is clearly aware that it's a meaningful part of its ever-expanding catalog, so it's unsurprising that it's hard at work on a third entry. With the advent of newer hardware and a heap of lessons learned from the first two games, The Division 3 is all but certain to land with a bang and further cement the franchise as one of Ubisoft's most beloved.

We know The Division 3 is in development at Massive Entertainment with Julian Gerighty as the executive producer. Beyond that, though, not much has been shared about what to expect from the game yet. Even so, here's everything we know about The Division 3.
Release date
The Division 3 does not currently have a release date. And since the game hasn't even received any trailer yet, it's safe to assume we probably won't see it until at least 2025 — though stranger things have happened.

Activision is known as the Call of Duty publisher, but now it's trying something different. The company announced Thursday that it's formed a new internal studio called Elsewhere Entertainment that is dedicated to developing a "new narrative-based and genre-defining AAA franchise."

An official blog post notes that Elsewhere is a "standalone studio" inside the company and headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. It's employing a number of games industry veterans who've worked on franchises like Uncharted, Cyberpunk, Destiny, and others. According to LinkedIn, this includes Michal Madej, who worked on the original Witcher at CD Projekt Red and has been with Activision for the past few years. He's currently listed as a game director.
