IBM Debuts ThinkVision L190 LCD Monitor

An ultra narrow 15-millimeter monitor bezel on the new ThinkVision L190 minimizes the distances between screen images in a multiple monitor configuration. Multi-monitoring can help improve productivity and reduce errors for business professionals who need to work on multiple applications or tasks at once.

The ThinkVision L190 also features a fast, 12-millisecond pixel response time allowing for smooth text scrolling and video streaming. A fast pixel response helps eliminate “ghosting” and distortion often seen on LCD monitors with slower response times. Additionally, the L190 offers a brightness of 250 cd/m(2), or candelas per meter squared, a measurement of light properties radiating from a 1-meter-square surface; a 500:1 contrast ratio; and automatic scaling of resolutions less than 1280 x 1024.

Other features of the L190 include convenient direct access buttons for brightness and Automatic Image setup for quick optimal display configuration. A carrying handle built into the back of the monitor offers users easy portability for moving the monitor from office to office, or for easier attachment to mounting solutions in multi-monitor environments.

The IBM ThinkVision L190 monitor is available through www.ibm.com. IBM ThinkVision monitors are also available through select business partners. The ThinkVision L190 is priced at $499. lenovo thinkvision p40w thunderbolt 4 hero front facing right

Lenovo is ushering in Intel's new Thunderbolt 4 era with the ThinkVision P40w, the world's first monitor to support the connectivity standard. With its "Think" pedigree, the ThinkVision P40w is designed for professionals. Its ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio allows for multiple opened windows to be spread across the monitor's 39.7-inch display.

With Thunderbolt 4 support, the ThinkVision P40w is designed for Windows 10 systems running on Intel's 11th Gen processor platform, including Tiger Lake-powered laptops and the upcoming Rocket Lake silicon designed for desktops. Apple's new Mac systems powered by the iPhone maker's custom M1 processors also support Thunderbolt 4, so the monitor should work with the latest Mac Mini, MacBook Air, and 13-inch MacBook Pro on the market today.
