Dell today showed off two new high-brightness projectors which are designed for the conference room, classroom or home theater. The new Dell 2400MP ($1,099) and Dell 1200MP ($699) are both available now.
The Dell 2400MP, said Dell, is an XGA (1024 x 768) projector with features such as a 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness rating, 2,100:1 contrast ratio, Texas Instrument’s new color-processing technology which reportedly generates sharper text and accurate color reproduction in well-lit rooms and a weight of 5.5 pounds. The Dell 1200MP, meanwhile, is a SVGA (800 x 600) resolution projector with 2,000 ANSI lumens and a weight of less than five pounds.
“The Dell 2400MP and 1200MP are two of the brightest, most aggressively priced projectors available today,” said Gerry Smith, vice president, Dell Product Group, in a statement. “Dell is a standout in the projector market, and with these new products we can deliver the best features and connectivity options at up to 40 percent less than comparable models.”
