Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam is doing quite for himself lately with leading roles in Pacific Rim and the upcoming Guillermo del Toro scare-fest Crimson Peak, and now the British actor is reportedly in talks to play King Arthur in director Guy Ritchie’s planned six-film series about one of the most famous literary characters of all time.

According to Deadline, Hunnam is in final negotiations for the role, which could reunite him with his Pacific Rim costar Idris Elba, who is reportedly in talks to play a Merlin-like mentor to Arthur.

The script for the film is the latest in a series of drafts commissioned by Warner Bros., which has been attempting to bring King Arthur back to the screen in one form or another for several years now. Awake writer Joby Harold penned the current script for the film, which is intended to span six installments.

Variety reports that Man Of Steel star Henry Cavill and Spartacus actor Jai Courtney also read for the role of Arthur. As for the rest of the cast, Godzilla and Avengers: Age Of Ultron actress Elizabeth Olsen is reportedly in talks to play the female lead in the film.

With Sons of Anarchy ending its seven-season run in the near future, it’s safe to say that Hunnam is going to stay busy after the hit series wraps up.

King Arthur is expected to hit theaters July 22, 2016.

Heading into Backlash, WWE is entering the "American Nightmare Era." After finishing his story at WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes is now the Undisputed WWE Champion. A different era means a new crop of challengers for Rhodes. First up is AJ Styles, a former two-time WWE champion. Rhodes must bring his A-game if he wants to walk out of France as champion.

If you have to watch one Star Wars movie this May the 4th, stream this one
Luke looking off into the binary sunset before dying in The Last Jedi.

Every Star Wars fan has a favorite movie, and many Star Wars fans also hate at least one of the entries in one of their favorite franchises. That can make the exercise of choosing the perfect Star Wars movie to watch on May the 4th difficult. For all of the love this fan base has shown to the franchise over the years, it's also a fan base that has strong opinions about why one movie or another is worthy of your time.

This May 4, though, I'd recommend watching Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Almost undoubtedly the most controversial entry in the saga, one that makes some people furious and others jump for joy, The Last Jedi is worthy of your attention, whether you like what it's doing or not. Here are three reasons you should check it out:
