Sony PS3 to be More Powerful Than Expected

In an interview with Gamesindustry.biz, Harrison told the online publication “It only gets better from here on in,” “As you get closer and closer to production hardware, you’re using more and more like the final silicon, which will be more and more like the final clock speed.”

If this is the case, then Microsoft really needs to be scrambling. According to Japanese website ITmedia, the Playstation 3 development kits are running at a 2.4GHz processing speed while the final versions of the chip will run at a smoking 3.2GHz, and on top of that, the final Playstation 3 will have a more powerful NVIDIA graphics processor.

Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is expected to be available this November while Sony’s Playstation 3 will come out sometime next spring.

How to change the power indicator brightness on the PS5

There are lots of ways to customize your PlayStation 5 experience and ensure that everything runs exactly the way you like it. One of the newest features added to the settings is the ability to turn down the brightness of the blue light on the front of the console that indicates when it's powered on. Since this can be a bit distracting in dark rooms, you may want to hop into the settings and adjust it down just a bit. We'll tell you how to do that below.

Lego Fortnite is way more expansive than you’re probably expecting

At this point, it’s hard to be too surprised by Fortnite’s radical changes. The mega-popular battle royale game has become a shape-shifter since its launch, dropping frequent seasonal updates that fundamentally alter the core experience. But all of those previous changes are about to seem basic as the shooter is ushering in an entirely new era today. Fortnite is getting a major update that fully transforms it into a platform housing multiple games. Don’t call it Fortnite 2; it’s Fortnite, the free-to-play storefront.

Over the next three days, Epic Games will drop three original, free games inside of Fortnite. That includes titles from the makers behind Rock Band and Rocket League, but the headliner drops today: Lego Fortnite. It isn’t just a new battle royale mode or an excuse to fill the shop with a ton of skins. It’s a full-on survival crafting game that essentially crams Minecraft inside of Fortnite.

It's out with the old and in with the new for the PlayStation 5, as Sony has replaced its old 2020 model with a slimmer redesign. The new model fixes one of its predecessor's biggest issues thanks to its 1TB storage upgrade. As is the case with any console, not all of that space is actually usable. In testing our own review unit, we've been able to break down just how much of an upgrade it actually is.

When popping into the storage menu, the new PS5 says it has 848GB of space. You'll find that some of that is already taken up by a few things, including Astro's Playroom, which comes installed on the system out the box. That'll leave you with 830.6GB, though you can delete the game to get 11.06GB back. The only thing you can't cut is 6.33GB of system files. All in all, that means you have roughly 842.2GB of usable space.
