In a bid to raise awareness for its smart home products, Google has kicked off a pop-up event in New York City that shows off the best features of the Google Home Mini and the Google Home Max smart speakers. This pop-up is a little different than others you may have seen. Why? Well, because it’s a mini-golf course.
Each hole on the course will represent a different room in the home, so you might have a hole for the kitchen and one for the bedroom. As you make your way through the course, you can interact with the Google Assistant on the Home Mini and Home Max to see how the products can help in your day-to-day life. Nest products are also on display, working with the connected Google Home devices throughout the course.
Once you reach the end of the course, you can tally up the score with your group to see who’s the winner. Everyone will get a chance to win either a
The pop-up is only in New York until Monday, June 4, so if you’re in the area, you may want to check it out soon — lines may also get pretty long. You’ll still get a chance to check out the pop-up even if you don’t live in New York City, however, since Google is taking the pop-up on the road. It will be making its way to Chicago, where it will be open from June 14-17; Los Angeles from June 30 to July 5, and Atlanta from July 26-29.
