Everything coming to Paramount+ in April 2023

Paramount+ is often branded as “the peak of entertainment” and while that tagline may sound silly, it’s not false. Paramount+ has at its disposal the vast Viacom library of past and current blockbuster movies, shows, and sporting events. It’s a treasure trove for anyone interested in entertainment and pop culture.

Paramount+’s April 2023 programming schedule is its most impressive to date, with two shows, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies and Fatal Attraction, hoping to attract fans of their respective motion picture source material. And animation lovers will have the second seasons of the newly rebooted Rugrats and Beavis and Butthead to feast on.

Everything coming to Netflix in May 2024

Unfrosted | Official Trailer | Netflix

It's sad to see April end. Not only was the weather nice, but Netflix was killing it with a lot of its original programming like the thriller series Ripley with Andrew Scott, the true-life story Scoop, and the cathartic drama Baby Reindeer, which became a surprise hit late in the month.

The best shows on Disney+ right now (April 2024)

The good news for Disney+ subscribers is that there are new episodes of X-Men '97 and Star Wars: The Bad Batch throughout April and into early May. Beyond those two shows, older audiences are starved for new programing on Disney+ that isn't geared toward young children. And if you do have kids, then you may learn just how many times you can watch the same episodes of Bluey season 3 over and over again without going mad.

This month, National Geographic is the only option for new Disney+ shows if you don't have a Hulu subscription as well. On April 21, National Geographic is debuting the new three-part miniseries Secrets of the Octopus, which will make its streaming debut April 22 on Disney+. Additionally, National Geographic's Drain the Oceans has been added to Disney+ as well.

Everything you need to know about 1883 season 2

Since the debut of Yellowstone in 2018, the series has grown into one of Paramount's most valuable TV and streaming franchises. So much so that series co-creator Taylor Sheridan was given the freedom to create multiple Yellowstone prequel series for Paramount+. The first prequel, 1883, arrived in 2021, and it has proven to be popular with fans in its own right.

The series 1883 is set in the Old West long before the Dutton family established itself on the Yellowstone Ranch. Sam Elliott headlined the series as Shea Brennan, with Tim McGraw as James Dutton, the great-great-grandfather of Kevin Costner's John Dutton from Yellowstone. The rest of the cast includes Faith Hill, Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, Marc Rissmann, and Audie Rick.
