Samsung Galaxy Nexus to hit Costco December 15?

nexusYou’ve no doubt heard the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been delayed—and then some. After much speculation, the premier Ice Cream Sandwich phone still can’t be found on shelves, yet we might be inching closer to a release.

costco galaxy nexusA Costco coupon obtained by DroidDog advertises a $290 Galaxy Nexus bundle, which in addition to the phone will reportedly include a leather pouch, car charger, and a screen protector. The deal requires a two year contract with Verizon and will be available December 15. Of course, Costco was also supposed to have the handset available December 9, which has clearly come and gone with no sign of the Galaxy Nexus.

This doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the official launch date from Verizon, and Costco members could easily be the first to get their hands on the phone. In the interest of pulling at loose ends a little, the December 15 launch has been mentioned before, and this does give it slightly more credence. Of course the continuing delays and lack of information from Verizon works against any optimism.

All that said, it’ll be worth it to check out any Costco coupons and releases this Thursday to see if the Galaxy Nexus is finally among them.

The best Samsung Galaxy Watch in 2024: Which one should you buy?
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, side by side on a persons wrist.

While the openness of the Android ecosystem means there’s no shortage of options to choose in terms of smartwatches, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch family leads the pack by a wide margin.

The Galaxy Watch 6 marks the wearable’s fifth generation (there was never a Galaxy Watch 2), which means the line has had plenty of time to evolve and mature. Samsung’s decision to embrace Wear OS two years ago and expand the lineup in new directions with an adventurous “Pro” model and the return of the much-loved rotating bezel means that there’s now a Galaxy Watch for just about everyone.
