Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and if your mom isn’t big on flowers and chocolates, or if you want to get her something that won’t be gone within a week, then consider something she probably doesn’t have — a digital picture frame. Unlike traditional frames, a digital unit can store your photos and display them in a slideshow, and the Oxa digital picture frame  even has built-in video and music playback.

Oxa’s frame features a 7-inch HD LCD screen for displaying photos, and can stand upright on a flat surface or mount on your wall. The frame displays digital pictures that you store on the device, cycling through the photos as a slideshow or displaying a single photo of your choice. You can set the slideshow to have it cycle through the pictures randomly or in a sequence, and you can also customize playback so that each photo is displayed for seconds, minutes, or an hour.

The Oxa digital picture frame comes with 4GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded to 32GB with an SD card or USB drive. Along with displaying photos, the frame doubles as an entertainment device, allowing you to upload video and audio files to the frame and play them. Included with the device is a handy remote control. The display has a 16:9 aspect ratio for widescreen photos and videos and can support videos with an HD resolution of 720p.
