Pokemon Go Deino Field Notes guide

Pokemon Go has been growing at a rapid pace since launch, adding in tons of new content and ways to play, as well as more Pokemon to catch of course. One of the most popular reasons to come back to the game is the Community Day events that happen each month. These limited-time events give you the chance to complete Special Research tasks to get rewards exclusive to these events.

For June 2022, we know that the Pokemon Go event will focus on the Field Notes: Deino Special Research ticket. There is a small entry fee, as usual, but tons of bonuses and, of course, the chance to get yourself a Deino. While some parts of the event won’t be revealed until it starts, here’s a guide on how to be fully prepared for when it drops in Pokemon Go.

When does the Deino Community Day event start?

The Deino Community Day event will kick off on June 25, 2022. It will only be active for four hours, though, starting at 11 a.m and ending at 2 p.m in your local time. There will also be bonus four-star raids held between 2 p.m and 7 p.m. These will be indicated by blue Raid Eggs on top of gyms and pit you against Zweilous.

How much does the Field Notes: Deino cost?

To get access to the exclusive Deino Field Notes and Special Research tasks, you will need to purchase the ticket for just $1. In addition to buying one for yourself, you will also have the option to give one as a gift to a friend so you can both enjoy this event together.

Once you have the ticket, all the new quests and rewards will be revealed — however, we won’t know what they are until then.

What are the bonuses?

Of course, other bonuses will also be available to encourage you to load up Pokemon Go for this event. These include:

  • 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
  • 2× chance to receive Deino Candy XL from catching Deino.
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
  • One additional special trade can be made during the event and up to five hours afterward for a maximum of three for the day.
  • Trades made during the event and up to five hours afterward will require 50% less Stardust.

Also, if you are able to evolve Zweilous, which is Deino’s middle evolution, to Hydreigon during the event they will get the special Charged Attack Brutal Swing.

Trading comes to Pokémon TCG Pocket later this month, but there’s a catch
Moltres and Zapdos cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket.

Pokémon TCG Pocket is finally bringing the trading function to the game later this month. One of the hottest titles on the market, TCG Pocket is a more simplified, streamlined version of the regular trading card game with a heavier focus on card collecting than battling. Trading is a big part of that, but the feature has been unavailable since launch.

In what should come as no surprise, there are restrictions on how trade works. You will only be able to trade cards with a diamond rarity of one through four or cards with a one-star rarity, and alternate art cards won't be tradeable. You need to be friends with the person you're trading with, too. Cards must also be the same rarity to be eligible for trade, so you won't be able to swap a one-diamond Heatmor for a three-diamond Serperior, no matter how many of them you might have. (At last count, I have 17 Heatmor. Send help.)

Pokémon Go is ending support for certain older Android phones
pokemon go

In the eight years since Pokémon Go first made its way onto the global stage, the app has seen a lot of changes. While most have been beneficial updates, Niantic recently broke a bit of unfortunate news: Pokémon Go will lose support for 32-bit Android devices.

If you're on iPhone or a 64-bit Android device, don't worry; nothing will change for you. However, players using a Galaxy S5, OnePlus One, Sony Xperia Z3, and other devices of a similar age should consider upgrading their phone. Pokémon Go will no longer be accessible on those devices once the update goes live. Your account will still be there, but you won't be able to play or participate in events until you load the app up on a compatible device.

Stardew Valley house upgrade guide: all upgrade costs and more
Stardew Valley player overseeing their farm.

At the start of your adventure in Stardew Valley, you will have a lot of tips and tricks to learn while you try to bring your old farm back to life. You may want to start giving gifts to villagers and messing with some cheats, but one of the most important things to plan for is upgrading your house. After all, you can only make a little one-room house work for so long before you will need a lot more space. These add a lot more functionality and even new gameplay options, but they are big investments in every way. Unlike upgrading and redesigning the layout and look of your farm, you don't have the skills necessary to upgrade an entire house on your own. If you're looking to renovate your shabby little house, here's how all the upgrades work.
All farmhouse upgrades in Stardew Valley

There are three main upgrades you can get in Stardew Valley, plus a number of renovations that open up after you have reached the second house upgrade. Both the main upgrades and renovations can be done by speaking to Robin, providing her with the required resources, and letting her work for a few days.
Upgrade 1
The first house upgrade costs 10,000g and 450 wood and takes Robin three days to finish. This will expand your single-room house with a kitchen you can use to cook meals for yourself or villagers, a fridge to store items that can be used in cooking, and a dedicated bedroom with a larger bed. This upgrade is required if you want to get married.
Upgrade 2
After you have Upgrade 1, you can go another level up by spending 65,000g and 100 Hardwood. This will take Robin another three days and adds two more rooms. The first is empty and can be used for whatever you wish, while the other comes with a crib and two small beds for kids. Naturally, this upgrade is needed if you want to have any children with your partner. Beyond that, this is where the new renovations become available. These are fairly substantial and costly but not required if you want to jump straight to the final upgrade. Here are all the renovations and how much they cost:
