Samsung is gearing up for a pretty big 2017. While rumors have been piling up about the upcoming Galaxy S8, that isn’t the only Samsung phone we’ll see. We’ll also get new releases in the Galaxy A series.

In fact, we may already have gotten a peek at what the new phones will look like. Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A3 have appeared online, showing off some of the features we can expect from the new phone. The renders come courtesy of My Smart Web.

Based on the renders, it looks like the phone will actually be pretty sleek and stylish. The renders show a completely black phone with antenna lines on the top and volume buttons on the left of the device. On the bottom, you’ll find (thankfully) a headphone jack and a USB-C port. The power button and a speaker grill are interestingly found on the right.

It also looks like the device will sport a 2.5D curved display, with that slight screen curve on the edges that helps give the device a very premium look.

While we don’t know for sure what the phone will have under the hood, earlier leaks suggest it will boast a 4.7-inch 720p display, an octa-core 14nM Exynos 7870 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera, and a USB-C connector. That would make it one of the few budget devices to use USB-C at this point.

We’ll likely hear a lot more about the Galaxy A3 and the other Galaxy A devices over the next few months. We don’t know when they will be released, but given the fact that the 2016 A3 was launched in January, we could be looking at a release in the very near future.

The pink Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus lying on a pillow.

Samsung started rolling out its One UI 6.1 update last week, bringing its Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S23 series and other Galaxy phones and tablets. Unfortunately, it looks like the update is doing more harm than good.

Over the last couple of days, there have been seemingly endless reports of One UI 6.1 wreaking havoc for Galaxy S23 owners — including everything from unresponsive touchscreens, fingerprint sensors not working, and more.

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 6 is one of the best smartwatches that you can buy right now, especially if you’re using a Galaxy smartphone. But as good as it is, there's also no denying how much of an iterative update it was over the Galaxy Watch 5. It's about time we see some bigger changes to Samsung's smartwatch family.
