AMD’s CES 2023 keynote has come and gone. Riding high on the launch of its new Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards and Ryzen 7000 CPUs, AMD had a lot to celebrate and a lot to bolster. Many of the rumors about what AMD might announce next came true too.

Here’s how to rewatch the event to learn about everything that was announced at AMD’s CES 2023 keynote.

There were a lot of announcements from CES for AMD, not all of which were actually mentioned in the keynote itself.

One of the most exciting announcements was the continuation of 3D V-cache chips. AMD is bringing the technology to three new chips, no longer limiting it to just a single CPU. The Ryzen 9 7950X3D is the flagship CPU, sporting 16 cores, a 5.7GHz clock speed, 144MB of cache, and a claim of 24% faster game performance than Intel’s best. The Ryzen 9 7900X3D and Ryzen 7 7800X3D round out the lineup of 3D V-cache chips.

As expected, AMD has announced its new Ryzen 7000 mobile chips for laptops as well. There’s a huge number of new chips, going up to 16 cores. Some of the chips use older CPU architecture, while the flagship ones, the 7045 and 7040 series, are built on Zen 4. It’s a pretty complicated chart of chips, but the good news is that some of them have RDNA 3-based integrated graphics onboard.

AMD also announced some new non-X desktop processors as part of its Ryzen 7000 line. These are just 65-watt parts this time around, and they’re a lot more affordable too, which should help them sell a bit better.

Lastly, AMD announced its new mobile GPUs. The AMD RX 7600M XT is the flagship, which AMD claims can beat a desktop RTX 3060.

A rendering of an RTX 40 Super GPU.

Nvidia's RTX 40 Super graphics cards are just around the corner, with Nvidia teasing an unveiling of its mid-generation refresh of its Ada Lovelace GPUs ahead of CES 2024. The cards are expected to update a number of midrange to high-end graphics cards from the RTX 4000-series with increased CUDA core counts, enhanced clock speeds, and potentially more competitive price tags.

But that's all speculation until Nvidia shows us what it's been working on. If you want to be there when the news drops about just how powerful (and maybe affordable?) these cards actually are, here's how to watch the RTX 40 Super launch.

AMD announcing AMD Ryzen 8000G.

AMD just revealed its new lineup of desktop APUs with built-in graphics at CES 2024: the Ryzen 8000G series. According to AMD, the Ryzen 8000G lineup can run AAA titles without requiring a discrete GPU. Will these CPUs really rival some of the best processors when it comes to graphics performance? Here's everything we know.

Equipped with AMD's Radeon 700M graphics, these chips combine a CPU and a GPU, and AMD claims that the integrated graphics can compete against some of the most popular discrete graphics cards.

AMD announces RX 7600 XT at CES 2024.

AMD just launched the RX 7600 XT at CES 2024. It's a graphics card that makes sense, and one that AMD fans have been waiting on ever since the launch of the original RX 7600. It might not do enough in the hotly contested market of graphics cards around $300, however.

Between the RX 7600 and the RX 7600 XT, not much has changed. These two graphics cards are based on the same GPU, and they come with the same number of cores. The XT model, however, boosts the clock speed by up to 10%, and it comes with a higher power draw at up to 190 watts.
