How to change your appearance in Starfield

Some people love to spend hours in character creators, while others just want to get right into the game. Starfield doesn't have the most robust systems for modeling your character, but you can still spend a good chunk of time before even choosing your Background or Traits. Even if you do take your time, there's a good chance you will eventually get tired of looking at the same face after dozens or hundreds of hours and want something fresh. You'd never know it unless you stumbled upon it, but Starfield does allow you to alter your appearance after the opening. Here's how to do it.

How to change your appearance

You can change what your character looks like almost immediately after the intro in Starfield by visiting a specific location.

Step 1: Travel to New Atlantis.

Step 2: Go to the Commercial District.

Step 3: From the train station, go straight ahead past the Infinity Ltd. building on the left.

Step 4: The next building is the Enhance! shop with a big blue and yellow sign with a face on it.

Step 5: Go inside and talk to the receptionist and pay the 500 Credits to be taken back to the character creator screen, where you can completely reshape your character.

You can always come back here to change your character whenever you like, so long as you have the small fee of 500 Credits to spend.

How to play left-handed in Counter-Strike 2
A character holding a gun in the left hand in Counter Strike 2.

Unless you're a lefty, you may not notice that every shooter, including Counter-Strike 2, always has you playing as a right-handed character. While it may not seem like a big deal, it just feels awkward for people who primarily use their left hands to get used to seeing games that way, especially when previous versions of this game allowed you to play as a southpaw. And, if you're playing at the highest level, swapping hands can make peaking corners much easier. While it was missing for almost the first year of the game, Counter -trike 2 has finally allowed players to swap hands and play however is more natural and comfortable for them. Here is how to set your preferred handedness in Counter-Strike 2 and swap it on the fly.
How to swap handedness

If you want to set your character to always play either left- or right-handed, the best way is to set your preferred handedness in the settings. Open up your settings and go into Game > Item and scroll down to the Preferred Viewmodel Left/Right Handedness option. The drop-down menu will let you choose between right and left so you will always default to that view.

How to change bot difficulty in Counter-Strike 2
A team groups up in Counter-Strike 2.

There's no denying that Counter-Strike 2 is one of the most hardcore and competitive FPS games on PC. One wrong move in this game can force you to wait out the rest of the round and leave your team a player down.

With such a long history and dedicated playerbase, the skill ceiling is intimidatingly high and you may not be able to keep up with those you're matched up against. Bot matches give you a chance to practice your skills and strategies in a less-stressful environment, though the challenge they provide may not be exactly right for you. There is a way to tweak them so you can find the perfect targets, but it's not very intuitive.

All Incantations and how to unlock them in Hades 2
Melinoe fighting under a full moon in Hades 2.

You can't have a game where you play as a witch without a massive cauldron. Hades 2 places one front and center in the Crossroads, but it isn't just there for decorative purposes. Melinoë can use this big boiling pot of green liquid to bring new features into the game, whether it be between runs or during them, in exchange for various materials like Silver. You will only start out with a few Incantations, but doing more runs and getting further toward your goal of killing Chronos will gradually unlock more to create. There are far more than you might expect for an early access game. Here are all the Incantations and their recipes.
Every Incantation, effect, and recipe
The order in which you unlock Incantations in the menu can vary based on what you do and how you progress in Hades 2, so this list is in no particular order. Also, it is possible there are more we haven't been able to unlock yet, so we will update this list if we discover any more or if additional ones are added during early access.
