We’ve sifted through everything on offer to create a definitive list of the best Prime Day gaming laptops that you can (and totally should) shop today.

HP Victus 15 Gaming Laptop — $680, was $900

The HP Victus 15 is a relatively affordable gaming laptop, but it doesn’t sacrifice performance because it’s powered by the Intel Core i5-13420H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Graphics, with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. It’s got a 15.6-inch screen with Full HD resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, and it comes with Windows 11 Home pre-loaded. An enlarged touchpad and backlit keyboard add to the gamer aesthetic for less.

Dell G16 gaming laptop — $900, was $1,250

The 2560 x 1600 resolution also has a 165Hz refresh rate to help out with cutting down on motion blur. It’s all powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory and 512GB of SSD storage. Acer Predator Helios 300 — $1,300, was $2,100

A fairly powerful gaming laptop, the Acer Predator Helios 300 is packing an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory, 1TB of SSD storage, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card. Slightly older technology than the latest generation of gaming hardware, it’s still more than powerful enough to play plenty of the latest games. Lenovo Legion Slim 7 — $1,300, was $1,950

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 looks great thanks to being slimmer than most laptops. It has an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processor along with 16GB of memory, 1TB of SSD storage and an AMD Radeon RX 6800S graphics card. The hardware goes well with the 16-inch WQXGA screen that has 500 nits of brightness, 165Hz refresh rate, and a great resolution of 2560 x 1600.

HP Omen 16-inch gaming laptop — $1,450, was $1,800

The HP Omen 16-inch gaming laptop has the latest 13th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory and 1TB of SSD storage. For the graphics card, you get an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 so that’s all good and up-to-date too. A 16.1-inch display has a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 while there’s a 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time. 300 nits of brightness could maybe be a little better but this is a well-rounded gaming laptop for the price.

Lenovo Legion 7 Gen 7 — $1,500, was $2,300

The Lenovo Legion 7 Gen 7 has an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H processor, 16GB of memory and 1TB of SSD storage. There’s also an AMD Radeon RX 6700M graphics card with 10GB of dedicated VRAM. It’s all teamed up with a 16-inch WQXGA display with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, HDR400 support, 100% sRGB, 500 nits of brightness, and 165Hz refresh rate so games look great on it. A RGB backlit keyboard includes a fingerprint reader while there’s also a 1080p full HD webcam with dual microphones and a privacy shutter.
