Epic Games revealed details on Fortnite’s next season, which features the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda. The bounty hunter-themed Chapter 2 — Season 5 will add new characters, weapons, and locations to the battle royale game.

A trailer for this season’s battle pass reveals the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda alongside a batch of new characters. The trailer shows him sniping with his signature Amban rifle and using his jetpack to jump between buildings. It’s not clear how Baby Yoda fits in during gameplay, but images on the battle pass page tease that he may be featured as a backpack for the Mandalorian.

The season, referred to as Zero Point, revolves around hunters from different realities coming together to stop “the loop,” a cataclysmic event that threatens the game’s island. The narrative-focused season stars a character named Agent Jones, who will recruit more hunters as the season progresses. The battle pass page shows off a few of the new hunters including Mancake, a western-themed stack of pancakes.

In addition to the Amban rifle, the new season brings some notable new weapons to the game. The Night Hawk will allow players to track their targets and the Dragon’s Breath shotgun is described as “firey.” The game’s new map features jungles, an ancient arena, and a crystalline desert.

The new season adds a revamped quest system based on the bounty hunter motif. Players can take on bounties from the various hunters and complete them to receive bars, a new currency for the season. They can be found in hidden stashes and are rewarded for killing players as well. Bars can be used to buy “exotic weapons, upgrades, intel, services, and more.”

Fortnite’s Marvel-themed Chapter 2 — Season 4 just wrapped up with a massive event in which players came together to defeat Galactus. The new season launches today alongside the game’s new Fortnite Crew subscription service.
