From a car mount to a smartwatch and beyond, these are the best accessories for your Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, or S20 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+

John Velasco / Digital Trends

Offering wireless music streaming, unbeatable battery life, and pleasing sound, Samsung’s Galaxy Buds+ were unveiled alongside the Galaxy S20 family, and also work great with its successor, if you’re looking to upgrade. They isolate you from distracting noises, so you can stay focused. To let in some of the outside world to be more in tune with your surroundings, you can switch on Ambient Aware2. You get 22 hours of sound and up to 11 hours of music on a single charge, then pop your Galaxy Buds+ in the wireless charging case and get nearly 11 more. A dedicated internal and two external microphones pick up your voice and isolate it from outside noises. When you’re on a call, your voice comes through even in noisy locations. Use the Galaxy Wearable app on Android and Galaxy Buds+ app on iOS to make the most of your earphones.

Fiora Wireless Car Charger

The Fiora is a fully adjustable car mount for holding your Galaxy S20 or S20 Plus while you drive — though the S20 Ultra might be a bit too big and heavy. It supports Qi wireless charging at up to 15W and it comes with a Quick Charge 3.0 adapter that can plug into the socket in your car and a USB-A to USB-C cable to connect it. The coolest feature is the automatically closing arms, which slide shut to hold your phone in place. Touch buttons on either side of the mount light up green when it’s plugged in and powered, and turn blue when it’s wirelessly charging your phone. A tap on either button opens the arms to remove your phone. The mount requires power, so start the car before putting your phone in. The mount ships with a standard dashboard or window suction cup, a CD player mount, and an air vent clip.

Cluvox USB-C Fast Charger Kit

Charge your S20 up to four times faster with the Cluvix USB fast charger kit — either at home or in your car. The company promises to charge from zero to 55% in about 30 minutes. It is ETL certified to support output of 5V-3A, 9V-2A, and 12v-1.5A while automatically detecting which device you own for the proper charging speed. The car charger sports a compact design and is multi-voltage compatible with 100- to 240-volt 50/60HZ input for international travel. It comes with a tough 3.3-foot USB-C power cord.

Spigen Camera Lens Screen Protector

While it’s not unusual for mobile phone owners to protect the body and screen of their device, Spigen takes it a step further by also providing a way to shield your Galaxy S20 device’s camera lens so your shots always look their best.  The camera lens protectors come in a two-pack of premium tempered glass and are designed for an unobtrusive flat look with no raised bezels. An additional anti-fingerprint coating helps to keep the lens smudge-free. It’s compatible with all Spigen cases.

Anker Powerline II Cable

It’s always handy to have a spare cable or two, but not all cables are created equal. The Powerline II from Anker is a 3-foot USB-C to USB-C cable that can deliver up to 100W of power, supports speeds of up to 10Gbps for data transfer, and is USB-IF certified for safety. This should cover all your charging and data transfer needs and it comes with Anker’s lifetime warranty, so you can get a replacement cable hassle-free if anything goes wrong.

Samsung 45W Wall Charger

This charger offers the top charging speed your Galaxy series allows, with output up to 45W, and it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable that can handle up to 45W. Samsung requires PPS (Programmable Power Supply) support, which most chargers don’t have. The charger delivers up to 3 Amp to power up your phone power at a faster rate than the standard 1A or 700mA charger. A detachable USB-C to USB-C cable is included, so you can charge your phone from your computer or a portable battery. Use the cable to sync and transfer files with your Galaxy or other compatible device. If you’re determined to have the top speed for the S20 Ultra, then this is the charger you need.

Elecjet PowerPie Power Bank

Simon Hill/Digital Trends

Anyone who suffers from battery drain anxiety will love this portable charger’s impressive 20,000mAh capacity. The USB-C port supports the Power Delivery standard and provides up to 45W, and there’s also a USB-A port that can output up to 18W. That means it will charge the Galaxy S20 and the S20 Plus at maximum speed, but it also supports the slightly more obscure PPS (Programmable Power Supply) standard, which means it can charge the S20 Ultra at full speed, too. It handles charging two devices at once, and supports pass-through charging as well, so you can charge it via the USB-C port and charge another device from the USB-A port simultaneously.

This smartwatch is the perfect accessory for your Samsung smartphone, using Samsung’s Tizen software, and is available in 40mm or 44mm sizes. It highlights an inventive rotating digital bezel around the bright Super AMOLED display and incorporates every health tracking function you could ever need or want, including a heart rate monitor, integrated GPS, ready-to-use exercise recognition, and a built-in fitness coach. No worries about your watch out in the rain, with its protective IP68 rating. It features 4GB of memory for music and supports many useful apps.

It’s A2-rated for fast application performance, which means that it’s compatible with random read input-output access per second (IOPS) of 4,000 and writes IOPS of 2,000. This capability makes it ideal for immediately opening apps and processing jobs. It also comes with a plug-in and transfer adapter.

Samsung Wireless Charging Stand

Samsung’s wireless charging stand is compatible with the company’s Fast Charge 2.0 model. That means it can transmit up to 15W of charge at the top wireless charging speed. You can set your S20 at the perfect angle in either landscape or portrait mode while it charges. The stand has an internal cooling fan and a green LED light at the base, both of which you can use to switch your phone off while you’re sleeping. It comes with a 25W wall charger and USB-C cable.

Having Galaxy S24 Ultra camera issues? A fix may be coming soon

It looks like Samsung is finally heeding the concerns about camera woes from Galaxy S24 Ultra users and will patch things up with a software update. According to a reliable leak, a software update will take stock of the “telephoto image quality, inaccurate white balance ,and abnormal red color” issues that are currently being reported by users on public forums.

“Too much optimization on 50 MP and 200 MP sensors even when everything is set to minimum,” says one Galaxy S24 Ultra buyer. “I feel like photos taken are always very washed-out and grainy,” notes another owner. “50mp and 200mp is simply useless because of the Intelligent optimization. It's downgrading the pics,” reads a complaint on the official Samsung community forum.
