Samsung Galaxy A33 5G images leak shows yet another midrange phone is on the way

In recent years, Samsung has introduced many new Galaxy A-series models, to the point where they have formed a robust budget and midrange lineup. In fact, many of those models have been favorably reviewed by Digital Trends. Now, renders have leaked of a new upcoming model, the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G.

OnLeaks, a reliable and well-known phone tipster, has revealed several details of the phone’s specifications. The phone is expected to come with a 6.4-inch screen with a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display. While the details of the camera sensors haven’t yet been revealed, the smartphone should have a quad-camera setup with a hole-punch or notch to accommodate the selfie camera. The phone should arrive in four colors: White, black, orange, and light blue.

And to end up that leaky week, I have a last one for you… Here comes your very first look at the #Samsung #GalaxyA33 5G! (360° video + gorgeous 5K renders + dimensions)

For reference, last year’s Samsung Galaxy A32 5G had a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display, with a 5,000mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor. We’re expecting to see improvements in all of these specs, but we don’t have specific details yet.

Wwe do know the phone will support USB-C, but fans of the A-series will be disappointed to note that the phone does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. This is a feature that Samsung has ditched in the past for some of its flagship models, but this is the first time we’re starting to see it absent on midrange and budget phones. It’s also worth noting that this will be a 5G-only phone, meaning there will be no 4G model for other markets like India that don’t yet have a 5G network.

Keeping in line with the release of the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G and 4G models in January and February of 2021, the A33 should launch in January 2022, perhaps alongside the heavily leaked S21 FE.

Samsung would hate the way I use my Galaxy Z Flip 5
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 opened up.

I’m sorry, Samsung, but I have sinned.

I really like the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which I’ve recently returned to for a few weeks, but I’m doing something I’m fairly sure Samsung will not approve of. It goes against everything that makes this little phone special. Quite often, I have the Flip 5 unfolded next to me because I’ve gotten tired of opening and closing it.
It folds, right?

5 phones you should buy instead of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5
A person folding up the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Is it 2004 again? Flip phones are back, and they're the perfect blend of retro and futuristic. There's a beautiful nostalgia about the clamshell form, with its closing snap and Star Trek-like flip open. But at the same time, the technology that allows for a full screen to bend almost seamlessly in the middle is clearly some sort of futuristic black magic.

Of all the smart flip phones currently available, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is one of the most polished and capable. Samsung has taken on the burden of bringing the foldable smartphone into the mainstream, and the results are some of the finest pieces of technology we've ever seen. If you're considering a flip phone, then the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has to be at the top of that list.

OnePlus Nord N300 5G speed test.

By now, you’ve almost certainly heard of 5G, the latest chapter in the evolution of wireless technology. Chances are you already have a smartphone and plan that supports 5G; if you don’t, you probably will after your next upgrade.

Although 5G has now effectively reached the mainstream, you may still wonder what the big deal is and how it will improve your life over the 4G/LTE technologies that have been the standard for the past decade. Is it worth upgrading to a 5G phone? Do you need a 5G plan, and if so, what level of 5G service should you choose from among the different flavors?
