Spigen Steinheil Ultra Crystal ($16)
Spigen is no amateur to the screen protector market. The Los Angeles-based company’s products frequently make our best-of lists – from cases to screen protectors. The Ultra Crystal is one most the most durable, scratch-resistant, and clear screen protectors we’ve recently run across. It now boasts 25 percent more thickness than previous models of the same name. Combine that with its fantastic anti-glare and Oleophobic coatings (that means it prevents smudging), and you have a product that is definitely worth the price tag. Plus, the screen maintains its clarity and responsiveness despite the hard-coated film.

Zagg’s Nano-Memory technology adds durability, maintains clarity and reduces glare. The screen protectors vary in price by whichever model you choose, whether it is the original version or the Hi-Definition, but the style and fit remains the same. And who can complain about a lifetime guarantee?

Tech Armor Smartphone HD Clear Screen Protector ($4)
Tech Armor’s screen protector proves yet again that you don’t have to spend a fortune to obtain peace of mind. The company made a point to emphasis its “no compromise on clarity” approach to the film, adding screen protection that remains clear and maintains the responsiveness of your Note 2′s display. It’s not top-notch, but the price is incredibly affordable and the product comes in a pack of three, just in case.

iSmooth Ultra Clear ($10)
The iSmooth Ultra Clear is another cheap alternative that will decently protect your Galaxy Note 2 on a tight budget. The screen protectors are constructed using Japanese PET film – a polyethylene terephthalate resin – and will reduce glare without the rainbow effect many screen protectors can produce. The screen protectors also come with a lifetime guarantee, a microfiber cleaning cloth, dust removal stickers, and ship in a pack of three. They aren’t the best of the best, but committing shouldn’t be a tough decision for a whopping $4.

DBA Cases’ Just Like Glass screen protectors was designed to work with the Note 2′s S-Pen while simultaneously reducing screen friction and providing protection worthy of its mid-range price. What do you think of our choices for the best Samsung Galaxy Note 2 screen protectors? What are using to protect your phone from the harsh world outside? Let us know in the comments below.
I use the standard Verizon screen protectors, but I found them to be less than desirable. So I’ll definitely consider the first one, the Spigen, to be the ultimate protector screen since I literally abuse the screen protector every single day. Thanks for the post Brandon!!
Finding a true screen protector these days is a headache. Most of the screen protectors form small indentations when you use the stylus. This is annoying as all get out, and when you are like me, and use your phone for business, a screen protector is a MUST!
I have clients sign invoices and credit card transactions right on my phone, so my stylus is used a lot and with a punishing effect on the average screen protector. I’ve been purchasing them off EBay for about $2 to $4 for a pack of 3 and I’ve yet to find anyone of these that actually keeps the indentations from the stylus from appearing….
I had heard a rumor that corning was making an actual screen-protector that was as tough as glass… Is this rumor true?? For those with standard phones, it isn’t a significant problem, but the Note 2′s stylus pen is terrible on screen protectors!! I’d love to hear someone do a follow up on screen-protectors that help against the stylus grooves/indentations…
Thanks
Use the all new nano liquid glass protectors. No film required. Apply the liquid glass solution on your screen and rub it out till its dry. This new breed of screen protector actually strengthens your screen by the nano bit. Even the feel becomes different. Much more smoother then ever.
Hey Chris, we will consider stylus groove/indentations a bigger factor next time we look into the best screen protectors on the market! Thanks for the tip. As for Corning, they do make a Gorilla Glass used in many tech products, but they don’t currently produce a a standalone screen protector that I’m aware of.
