Lenovo is expanding its all-in-one computer offerings, introducing its first all-in-one system catering to business users, the ThinkCentre A70z. Although the A70z doesn’t carry the same oomph of the consumer-oriented B500 all-in-one Lenovo introduced last month, the company is offering a variety of configuration options and promises the A70z will easily slide into businesses budgets, and save time with rapid start-ups and shutdowns.

Lenovo Fires Off Windows 7 Notebooks and Desktops
Computer maker Lenovo has unveiled its first slate of Windows 7-bearing notebook and desktop computers, focusing on its Idea line: IdeaPad notebooks and IdeaCentre desktops. Although Lenovo is known for catering to the corporate and enterprise markets, the company is also trying to strike some chords with consumers with appealing designs, strong multimedia capabilities, and (of course) a bit of power under the lid.
“Our Idea products are designed with the user experience in mind—every aspect of product design and technology is engineered to improve how consumers seamlessly use these products to enrich their daily lives,” said Lenovo Idea Product Group senior VP Liu Jun, in a statement.
Lenovo ThinkPad X301 Gets Lean and Mean
Computer maker Lenovo has formally rolled out its new ThinkPad X130 notebook computer, the company’s thinnest and lightest notebook system to date and features a featherweight monocoque carbon reinforced roll cage for stability. The X301 measures just 0.83 inches thick and weighs less than four pounds, but the system still manages to pack in a 2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 14.1-inch display, up to 250 GD of hard drive storage, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray player.

Summary
The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 is the first netbook computer to have discrete graphics capabilities. The S12 is able to push discrete graphics through NVIDIA’s Ion processing chip. The S12’s large 12.1-inch (1280 x 800) screen blurs the line between a netbook and a notebook. At only 1.14 inches thick the S12 packs the performance of a full sized notebook into a netbook sized package. Other notable features include over four hours of battery life, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 160 GB of hard drive storage, and an Intel Atom N270 processor.
Lenovo IdeaCentre C300 Review
Summary
The Lenovo IdeaCentre C300 all-in-one desktop system was designed to appeal to undemanding users who cherish desktop space. The C300 features a 20-inch 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen LCD display. The C300 is powered by Intel’s Atom 230 processor and Intel integrated graphics. Also featured in the C300 is 1 to 2 GB of memory, 160 GB up to 640 GB of hard drive storage, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and a built-in DVD burner/player.

Summary
The Lenovo G550 laptop features a 15.6-inch 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen display and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The G550 offers constant WiFi, Ethernet and optional Bluetooth connectivity. The Lenovo IdeaPad U350 is an ultrathin notebook, weighing in at just 3.5 pounds and featuring up to 500 GB of hard drive storage. The U350’s screen is 13.3 inches at 1,366 by 768 pixels. With an Intel Pentium SU2270 low-power processor, 2 GB of Ram (with support up to 8 GB), and Intel GMA 4500M or 4500MHD graphics the IdeaPad U350 packs a powerful punch. Also featured are a 1.3 megapixel Webcam, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless networking, and a choice of either a 4-cell or 8-cell battery.

Summary
The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 is an updated version of the IdeaPad S10. Lenovo slimmed down the chassis, added a more comfortable keyboard, and an option for 3g wireless connectivity. The thinner, lighter chassis only weighs in at 2.2 pounds making the S10-2 extremely easy to transport. Other features of the S10-2 don’t change from the original S-10 including a 10-inch screen, an Atom N270 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 160 GB hard drive.

Lenovo Lightens Up ideaPad S10-2, Adds 3G Option
Computer maker Lenovo has announced an update to its IdeaPad S10 netbook, slimming down the chassis while at the same time adding in a larger, more comfortable keyboard and adding an option for 3G wireless connectivity. The S10-2 also features a “modern and sophisticated” ring pattern on the cover, and will be available in a variety of colors to complement users’ lifestyles.
