Sony’s first-party titles are known for their cinematic and often lengthy experiences that value storytelling and atmosphere just as much as solid, enjoyable gameplay. That hasn’t changed for Spider-Man 2, which features the return of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they tackle multiple new threats in New York – some that may even be coming from within. This thrilling new web-slinging adventure should have plenty to offer both casual players and completionists, but how long will it take to beat? We won’t know for sure until the game launches, but recent leaks and rumors have teased what players can expect. Here’s how much time you should budget for Spider-Man 2 based on current rumors.

How long is Spider-Man 2?

A playthrough of Spider-Man 2 should take players an average of 17 hours according to some estimations and leaks — which includes the main campaign and dabbling in rounding up collectibles and doing other side content. The game will also feature an expansive trophy list like its predecessor that should be a joy if you’re a completionist, and it will likely take you around 25 to 30 hours to finish if leaks are to be believed. This will likely require you to 100% complete all districts, which will include finishing any and all side-quests as well as open-world activities. You’ll also likely need to purchase all of Spider-Man’s suit tech upgrades and gadget upgrades, as well as reach max level.

At the moment, these estimates are just rumored so take them with a grain of salt. We’ll confirm these figures when we complete the game ourselves at launch.

Hades 2's Melinoë is a very different main character from the first game's Zagreus in terms of personality and in how she fights. Being a witch, magic is core to her moveset, but she still wields all sorts of new weapons. You won't find the standard sword or spear here, as she starts off with just a witch's staff . You'll need to unlock the rest in traditional roguelike fashion. Each item requires you to gather up different materials, but most have some overlap so you will need to be selective about which one you craft first. We're still in the early access period, but for now, here are all the Nocturnal Arms in the game and how you can unlock them.

Ignoring the Witch's Staff, which you start with, there are four additional weapons to unlock.
Sister Blades
These fast, close-range melee daggers are the easiest to unlock and cost one Silver.
Umbral Flames
This is a medium-range weapon that prioritizes magic and fire attacks for three Silver and three Cinder.
Moonstone Axe
The heavy Moonstone Axe is your big, but slow damage dealer. It will cost you 15 Silver to pick up, so you will need to save up a bit.
Argent Skull
This si an explosive casting weapon that won't be available to unlock until you reach a certain point in the game that we won't spoil here. It will cost you two Glassrock and one Bronze to make.

The Xbox Series S is the less powerful but cheaper option out of the newest generation Xbox line. When comparing the Xbox Series S versus the Xbox Series X, the Series S takes a hit in all the component categories. That means it's not quite as fast. But if you're not hung up on getting the optimal performance out of your system, you'll actually notice very few differences. The two biggest ones are the Series S's inability to play in 8K, and its lack of a disc drive. Most people don't even have 8K TVs, so that shouldn't be an issue. If you're alright with downloading all of your games straight to the console's memory (and you have a separate DVD or Blu-Ray player), the Series S will work fine. It's quite a bit smaller anyway, and easier to fit on a shelf.
