During Amazon’s introduction of its Fire Phone, the company highlighted several camera-centric features of the handset.
The Fire Phone includes a 13-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 five-element lens. The camera will be equipped with optical image stabilization, with the phone itself having a camera shutter button on the side. Most interestingly, however, is how your photos will be stored.
While you can choose to have your photos saved locally, if you want your photos to be accessible in the cloud, Amazon will throw free unlimited photo storage through the company’s Cloud Drive service. Normally, Amazon throws 5GB of Cloud Drive storage to everyone for free, regardless of whether they are a Prime subscriber or not.
