eBay Mother’s Day Sale: Save on Arlo Pro 3, Apple iPad Pro, and MacBook Pro

It’s Mother’s Day, and we found some must-have products from Acer, Apple, Arlo, and Bose at excellent prices on eBay. These products are mixed, including laptops, a tablet, a super-high-quality smart home security camera system, and noise-canceling headphones.

The Acer, Arlo, and Bose devices are new, but the Apple laptop and tablet are refurbished. Don’t let their refurbished status put you off. In addition to much higher than normal discounts, manufacturers and merchants that sell refurbished electronic devices only do so when they’ve tested the machines to work just like new models.

The 5 best Apple deals in the October Prime Day sales
An iPad using new collaboration features hooked up to a tablet keyboard.

With Prime Day fully upon us, we're seeing a lot of great deals on Apple's products, from the AirPods to the excellent Apple Macbook Air, to the point where we might as well call it Apple Prime Day deals with what we're seeing. Of course, there are a lot of other great Prime Day deals to check out if you aren't specifically tied to Apple's ecosystem, especially since you might find a somewhat better deal.
Apple AirPods -- $90, was $159

While the Apple AirPods 2nd generation is now considered entry-level compared to other AirPods, they're still a force to be reconned with at only half the price. One of the most important things about any headphones is the sound, and the AirPods 2nd gen is a bit more smoothed out so that it doesn't offend anybody. That means that instruments are smooth, the treble is clear though it lacks presence, and the bass is not too bad, although not at the level of earphones at double the cost. That's to say that altogether, the audio quality isn't bad, and when you consider the roughly five-hour battery life of the AirPods with up to 24 hours when you include the case, they're a surprisingly good deal. On the other hand, it's worth checking the comparison between the Apple AirPods Pro 2 vs. AirPods Pro to see if you're OK with going with the lower generation.

Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Pro placed on a table.

It's not often we see a major sales events like the Prime Early Access Sale, and Apple tends to keep a relatively tight hold of the pricing for its products, so we don't often see a lot of significant discounts on the brand's newer stuff. That's why we're so excited to see fantastic Prime Day MacBook deals like this one on the 16-inch MacBook Pro that brings it down to $2,199. While this may still seem a bit pricey, the retail value is usually $2,499, which means you get a generous $300 discount on it, making it a significant MacBook Pro 16-inch deal that's worth picking up.

Why you should buy the MacBook Pro 16
If you're unfamiliar with the 2021 MacBook Pro 16-inch, it's one of the best iterations yet. One of the biggest changes in the newer generation of MacBook Pro is the move away from Intel and the introduction of the new M1 Pro and M1 Max chips made by Apple, which not only help boost performance but also help with battery life and heat management. This specific MacBook Pro comes with an M1 Pro with 10 CPU cores and 16 GPU cores, meaning you can get a lot out of it both in terms of productivity, such as image and video editing, as well as some light gaming if that interests you.
