Samsung Galaxy tab deals are here to help you ring in the New Year! If you’re looking for high quality tablets, you needn’t stop with iPads. Check out Samsung’s impressive lineup of Galaxy Tab Android tablets. The Galaxy tablets are excellent entertainment devices and productivity tools, especially for Android smartphone users. If you’re hunting for best tablet deals that share apps with your Android phone, then you want a Galaxy Tab. The Tab line covers a nice range of prices to fit any budget, too, but to save you even more, we’ve rounded up the best cheap Samsung Galaxy Tab deals you can find online right now along with a run-down of the current models on the market today.

Today’s best Samsung Galaxy Tab deals

  • Galaxy Tab A7 Lite —
  • Galaxy Tab S6 Lite —
  • Galaxy Tab S8+ —
  • Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (128GB version) —
  • Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (256GB version) —

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite — $150, was $200

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite on a white background.

Why Buy

  • Great value for the price
  • Light but sturdy
  • Handles the basics like a champ
  • One MicroSD card away from solid storage

We start out with the A7 light, and for good reason: It’s a usable, cheaper-than-cheap cheap tablet that’s been made even cheaper. And the word ‘cheap’ here doesn’t even mean it is made bad, despite being under a pound it’s made of a sturdy metal that can take a small tap or two. While you shouldn’t come into a budget range laptop expecting some phenomenal extra features, is that even what you really wanted? When you can do your emails, surf the web, look at videos, and pop onto a voice call (i.e. the basics) do you really need the extra bells and whistles? If you’re that no frills and no luxuries kind of consumer, this is the deal for you to make sure you have all of your bases covered and with 4GB of RAM, you should legitimately be fine with it. The only disappointment for even basic browse-and-surf users is that it only starts out with 64GB storage, but you’re one good MircoSD card away from fixing that if you ever feel the need.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite — $270, was $350

Somebody taking notes using the S pen on a Galaxy S6 Lite tablet.

Why Buy

  • Comes with an S Pen stylus
  • Dolby Atmos sound
  • Cool connectivity features
  • Facial recognition security

The S6 Lite is another tablet on the cheaper end, but it actually bring some fun tech to the mix without increasing your overall out-of-pocket expenses too much. For one, it is one of the cheapest ways to get ahold of the precise S Pen stylus, which is great for taking notes, doodling, or just avoiding that awkward feeling of fat fingering everything. You’ll also like the facial recognition for security that just keeps getting better and better each year. We’re also, by this point, starting to see Samsung’s take on interconnectivity. The S6 Lite can easily transfer what’s going on from it to your other Samsung devices, like your phone or TV, and keep the action going elsewhere. Plus, even at this price point, you’re able to see 64GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, so who can really complain? Finally, when talk about Dolby Atmos soundbars we always have to mention the great quality that surround sound with Dolby Atmos can provide. Well, if you act now, you can get a (much smaller) slice of that Dolby goodness with your new S6 Lite for an incredibly cheap price.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ — $820, was $900

Why Buy

  • A powerful machine in its own right
  • Lightning fast Wi-Fi 6E connectivity
  • Samsung DeX organization
  • Even more connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy S8+ is a fantastic machine that I fear will get overshadowed by the S8 Ultra below. But with it’s own Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, QHD resolution, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage the S8+ is already a powerful machine that doesn’t deserve to get overshadowed so much by other creations. It’s got the crazy powerful Wi-Fi 6E that, if your modem can handle it, can make download times more bearable than ever before. Then, when it comes time to start using the S8+, you’ll really want to take advantage of the Samsung DeX organizational powers that our reviewer rightfully likened to “Windowsifying” Android. You’ll get to arrange apps in different customizable boxes around your screen so you can multitask as you like it. Finally, there are more of those great Samsung interconnectivity features to be found, allowing you to share documents quickly!

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (128GB version) — $1,000, was $1,100

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Why Buy

  • The “king” of tablets
  • Large 14.6-inch screen
  • Brilliant resolution
  • Still comes with the S Pen

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the obvious comparison to the 8+ above and what we like to call the “king” of tablets. Just like the S8+, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of RAM, and (for this version) 128GB of storage. The screen is also larger at 14.6-inches, with a 2960 x 1848 resolution. You’ll see similar small boosts in the S8 Ultra’s battery, which is somewhat more powerful, and the new 12MP ultrawide front cam to match that power. With all of this immense size, you may also be pleasantly surprised to see that it still comes with an S Pen when you might feel than getting to the size that a mouse could do better.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (256GB version) — $1,080, was $1,200

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

Why Buy

  • Same as above, but with 12GB of RAM and double the storage.

Hey, we’ve seen this picture before! It’s the exact same as the above, but with some slight modifications to the specs. Analyzing numbers can get boring, so let’s put it into perspective. The 12GB of RAM in this version of the S8 Ultra is the bare minimum to run Elden Ring. Yes, you heard it right, this tablet could theoretically run Elden Ring! Next we have the 256GB of storage, 128GB more than the other version. The new hit game, High on Life, from the creator of Rick and Morty requires 50GB. That means you could store it five times on this version of the device, compared to the mere two of the one above. Not that you’d want to do that or anything!
