As we barrel through the holiday season, we’re seeing incredible deals on every kind of tech, from laptops and 4K TVs to smart home appliances and robot vacuum deals that can make your life more efficient, for less. Right now, you can save $80 on a Eufy RoboVac 11S (BoostIQ) at Amazon. This vacuum, by Anker, is super powerful, dedicates itself to the major task at hand (cleaning your floors), and it can be yours for only $150, down from its regular price of $230.

A robot vacuum is basically an essential these days, helping you to keep your living space clean, often without having to lift a finger. The Eufy RoboVac 11S (BoostIQ) is a no-nonsense robot vacuum that will do what’s needed; it’s not the smartest robot vacuum out there, but it offers a quality clean at a more than decent price, especially with $80 off.

Here’s what we love about this robot vacuum: Its BoostIQ Technology. This is a function that tells the vacuum when to increase power (taking only 1.5 seconds) when it encounters especially dirty areas, so it maximizes its potential all on its own.

The Eufy RoboVac 11S looks great, too. It’s not too tall; instead it’s sleek and slim, covered in a plastic that’s been brushed so that it resembles cool metal. It  stands out less than other robot vacuums we’ve seen from Roomba or Samsung.

Something else we like about this vacuum: There’s no app. Sure, it cuts down on custom features and capabilities, but it also makes it really simple to use, right out of the box. The whole point here is time savings, and this means that there’s virtually no setup (or worrying about Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity), and the only work you have to put in as a user is to empty the dust tray — which is designed to be easy and takes only seconds — and occasionally clean off the brush. And if that brush needs occasional attention it’s because this vacuum does its main job — sucking up dirt — really well. It’s got a plain design of a single roller brush and suction point; simple and to the point. It might not be as amazing in corners and hard-to-reach places, but it will still get the job done.

Not convinced? Check out other options in these robot vacuum deals. Robot vacuums can cost hundreds of dollars, mostly because they are loaded with features that you may or may not need. At the end of the day what you want is clean floors, and the Eufy RoboVac 11S (BoostIQ) will give those to you. Right now, it’s only $150. That means you save $80 from its regular price of $230. Get on it!

Fraimic’s E Ink art frame generates art from your voice and looks incredible doing it
Fraimic's AI art canvas is one of the most thoughtfully designed smart frames I've come across.
Indoors, Interior Design, Person

We’ve seen a lot of "smart art frames" at CES over the years. Most of them feel like glorified digital photo frames in turtlenecks. However, there’s one that feels genuinely different: Fraimic, and I say that as someone deeply skeptical of this category.

The pitch appears quite compelling at first. Speak a prompt into the device, and its built-in mic sends the command to OpenAI's GPT Image 2.0, which then generates full-color artwork that lands on a Spectra 6 E Ink display.

Google is rolling out a fresh batch of updates to Gemini for Home and the Google Home app, and the headline change is one that could get more users to try out automations. Version 4.20 of the Google Home app adds a handful of pre-built routines to the Automations tab, so instead of building one from scratch, you can pick one and turn it on with a tap.
