How to use Rowland's map to follow his trail

After you've begun the quest and collected the map from the abandoned campsite, you're left with nothing but the vague scribbles leading you to where you're intended to go.

Step 1: Summon your broom and take off.

Step 2: Head southwest and follow the river. Looking at your map, you'll be aiming for the Korrow Ruins Floo Flame marker.

Step 3: Once you reach the Korrow Ruins Floo Flame location, you will approach the Bandit Camp Castle dungeon just to the north of the flame.

Step 5: Enter the area and follow the remaining steps to complete the quest.

All Map Fragment locations in Shadow of the Erdtree
The golden Erdtree in Shadow of the Erdtree.

What made the experience of Elden Ring so special was how it handled its open-world design. There was a bit of concern about FromSoftware combining the Souls-style combat and map design into an open world, but the result has become one of the most celebrated examples of how open-world design should be done. So, needless to say, everyone was itching for that map to get expanded with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Land of Shadows is a separate new zone added to the game, but it is far larger and more dense than anyone anticipated. As it was in the base game, just exploring the map won't uncover the map for you. To do that, you need to find Map Fragments hidden around the world. There are five to collect to fully reveal the Land of Shadows, so go get them first to get a good lay of the land early.
All Map Fragment locations
As mentioned, there are five Map Fragments in total that correspond to five areas in Shadow of the Erdtree. We'll go through them in the general order you should come across them.
Gravesite Plain

The first area you start in when beginning Shadow of the Erdtree is the Gravesite Plain. Simply ride forward across the field toward the pillar beside the road to collect it.

The world of Elden Ring is filled with mysteries. The game doesn't hold your hand for long before letting you venture out in any direction you like – which is both a blessing and a curse. Stumbling upon new weapons, enemies, or another gorgeous viewpoint is what makes Elden Ring so entertaining, and if the game simply pointed you towards all these locations, it wouldn't be nearly as exciting.

Joker in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Rocksteady Studios is reportedly now working on a Director's Cut for Hogwarts Legacy following the tumultuous development and launch of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

A Bloomberg report detailing Suicide Squad's rocky development Thursday morning explained that Rocksteady pivoted from a multiplayer puzzle-solving game to working on Suicide Squad following the success of the 2016 movie. Rocksteady leadership ultimately agreed with WB management's request to make the game a live service title, but the historically single-player studio struggled to make that jump. The game also went through some massive changes during development, such as gameplay going from being melee-focused to gun-focused and a vehicle customization system being scrapped.
