Should you buy the OnePlus 12?

We’ve been excited by the OnePlus 12 since we got our hands on it. It looks great, feels great, and — you get it — it’s great. It has a chassis made with aluminum alloy and glass, feeling hefty and premium. OnePlus phones generally look gorgeous but this one knocks it out of the park. It also has an alert slider with a toggle that has a textured pattern and allows you to slide between ring, vibrate, and silent modes easily.

Besides good looks on an aesthetic level, it also has a great looking 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1440 x 3168 resolution at 510 ppi with 120Hz refresh rate. Support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ ensures whatever you’re watching or doing looks great, while brightness levels can hit up to 4,500 nits.

Performance-wise, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip ensures performance is exceptional with a relatively clean Android 14 install further helping things speed along. A camera setup of a 50MP main camera, 64MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and 48MP ultrawide camera with a 114-degree field of view all ensure you’ll grab great snaps too. A 32MP selfie camera is perfect for selfies and reaction videos.

Essentially, the OnePlus 12 is a premium phone that’s much more keenly priced than the competition. It’s worth snapping up one of the deals above to reap even better rewards as you buy.

The Moto G 5G held in a hand with its screen illuminated.

Head straight to the source for one of the best phone deals right now with Motorola selling its Moto G 5G phone for $150 instead of $250. Why you should buy the Moto G 5G
You won’t see the Moto G 5G near our look at the best phones. At just $150, that’s hardly surprising. However, it does have the core essentials going for it. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 480+ 5G processor and 4GB RAM which is fine for basic tasks and web browsing. It can handle gaming too if you don’t mind somewhat sluggish load times. Crucially, the phone is 5G compatible so depending on the area you live in, you can enjoy the fastest speeds when browsing online away from Wi-Fi.

Google Pixel 7a in Snow showing home screen.

Phone deals feel extra sweet when they involve a discount on an already great value phone. That’s the case with the Google Pixel 7a which is currently on sale at Amazon for just $349. Usually priced at $499, it’s even better value while it’s $150 off. It’s unlikely to stay this price for too long and it’s already proving popular, so if you want to get in on the action, do so now. If you’re not certain, take a look at what we have to say about it below.

Why you should buy the Google Pixel 7a
The Google Pixel 7a is a big upgrade from its predecessor and while our review pointed out that its increased price was an issue, that’s no longer something to worry about while it’s on sale. One of the best cheap phones, it offers a lot of great features. One immediate thing to notice is its 6.1-inch OLED display. It’s a full HD screen with a 1080 x 2400 resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for durability. It also has a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate so you get smoother scrolling and a generally better experience when watching videos or playing a game.
