How to get Sussur Bloom in Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 is almost as much of a loot-based game as it is a CRPG. While roaming around with your party, or your friends playing co-op, you will be bombarded with things to collect. There will be valuable things like new weapons, armor, and scrolls, but even more random things like plants and general debris. Eventually, your eyes might start to glaze over these random, seemingly useless items, but there are some, in particular, you shouldn’t overlook. The Sussur Blooms are far from useless, but also quite rare. These have a very important use, so follow along to learn where you can find this special plant in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Where to find Sussur Bloom

The Sussur Bloom is native to the dangerous Underdark area located beneath the Blighted Village. There are multiple ways into this zone, however the most convenient for collecting this bloom is to go in via the Zhentarim Hideout or Defiled Temple. Locate the massive glowing tree outside of the Arcane Tower(you literally can’t miss it) and walk around its base to scoop up two Sussur Blooms. Make sure you hold left alt to highlight all interactables in the area to easily spot these plants in the dark.

Sussur Blooms are needed to power the generator that powers the Arcane Tower’s elevator, however also have the ability to suppress magic, including anyone holding the bloom. That means if you’re a class that uses magic, you will want to have another party member hold the plant so you can still use your spells. Offensively, you can toss this anti-magic flora at magic-using enemies to prevent them from using their spells in combat.

Starfield: Red Mile location and how to survive
Talking to Mei about the Red Mile in Starfield.

What space game would be complete without a seedy casino somewhere in the galaxy? In Starfield, that is best represented by The Red Mile casino and hotel where those willing to risk their Credits, and their lives, have the chance to strike it rich. Of all the games and entertainment available, the Red Mile challenge is no doubt the most deadly. You're free to visit this planet almost immediately after getting your ship, but this challenge isn't made for a fresh character. Even after you've leveled up, get some decent gear, and feel up to the challenge, the Red Mile Run has a lot of surprises that can cut your run short in the worst possible ways. If you think you're tough enough to make it to the end, here's where to find the Red Mile and the best tips on surviving it.
Where to find the Red Mile

The Red Mile is technically the name of the entire casino-hotel resort, not just the challenge. It is found on the planet Porrima III, which is of course in the Porrima system. You can jump there manually anytime you're exploring, but will also be tasked with going there if you're following the Freestar Collective faction questline.

Where to find Benryn and Mirileth’s dowry in Baldur’s Gate 3
A man trapped under a wooden beam in a burning house.

Fetch quests are quite played out in RPGs, but Baldur's Gate 3 manages to put a unique spin on the tired old formula in the "Rescue the Trapped Man" quest. Starting the quest is easy enough, but the goal of finding the lost dowry itself can feel as daunting as finding a needle in a haystack. There are several ways you can go about getting clues to help you find the missing valuables, however, not all of them will be obvious or available to your character depending on their class and abilities. To finally put this mystery to bed and recover the lost treasure for a troubled man -- or keep it for yourself -- here's where to find Mirileth's Dowry in Baldur's Gate 3.
How to find Benryn and Mirileth's dowry

This quest begins by finding the man named Benryn in Waukeen's Rest, which is notably ablaze when you arrive. He is inside the house closest to the fast travel point, and trapped under a large wooden log. Pass either an Intelligence or Strength check to lead him out of the fire and save his life. Even though you saved him, Benryn will have another favor to ask you, which is to locate his wife, Mirileth. The two had an argument about the dowry and he doesn't know where it is. Unfortunately, finding Mirileth won't help much as she has passed away, so you now have to find the dowry yourself.

Will there be DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3?
A group of four adventures stands on the ends of a cliff in Baldur's Gate 3.

Having come out on both PC and PlayStation, with Xbox said to arrive in the near future, adventurers have already dumped hundreds of hours in Baldur’s Gate 3. This unexpected hit for the CRPG genre is as deep as it is long, and yet some have already managed to plow through all three of the game's acts. Despite there being tons of ways to experiment and replay using all the different Races and Classes, people are already getting hungry for more. In the modern age, DLC for massive hits like Baldur’s Gate 3 is almost a sure thing, and yet this game is by no means normal. From its long early access period to the sheer amount of dynamic and reactive ways to interact with the world, this is a very unique product. That has left many to question whether or not there will ever be any DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3.
Is Baldur's Gate 3 getting DLC?

At the time of writing, there are no concrete plans for DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3, but that doesn't mean it isn't in the cards. The latest update Larian has given on any potential future expansions came from an IGN interview with Product Manager Tom Butler during Gamescom 2023. He stated "We'll carry on patching for a while and then we're all going to take a holiday and then we'll figure out what we do next. But at the moment, we genuinely have discussions. We want to do more. We don't know what yet." No doubt the team deserves a break after the years of work put into Baldur’s Gate 3, and while fans will be somewhat disappointed to know nothing beyond fixes and updates are in the works as of now, you can at least know that it is being talked about.
