Lorex Cyber Monday sale: Get $300 off the 4K Ultra HD 8-camera security system

Home safety and security concerns drive many people to purchase smart home security cameras and security systems. Lorex Technology’s Cyber Monday deal on its 4K Ultra HD 8-channel security system including eight 4K cameras saves $300 on a complete solution with a 1TB DVR to record the feed from all eight cameras.

The feature-rich 8-channel 4K system includes advanced motion detection, two levels of low-light or no-light recording, smart home voice control, and compatibility with all major smart home platforms. A single cable connection for each camera for power and video content simplifies installation for the indoor and outdoor IP67-rated cameras.

The 4K cameras in the Lorex system capture unparalleled levels of detail in full color. When it gets darker, Lorex’s own Color Night Vision system can still capture color video as long as there’s sufficient ambient light such as from streetlights and outdoor home lights. Infrared (IR) black and white night vision takes over when there is little or no light. According to Lorex, the cameras have a 120-foot IR range in low light and 25 feet in total darkness.

The Lorex system has four channels with its advanced motion detection system. These channels can detect people or vehicles to prevent false alarms and nuisance alarms caused by moving branches or animals.

You can view and control the 4K Ultra HD 8-channel security system with the free Lorex Home app available for iOS and Android devices. You can use the app to view live and recorded video streams and to configure the system to send alert notifications, including attached screenshots.

If you have a smart home system, the Lorex security camera system is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple TV, and Chromecast. You can use the voice control features of the respective platforms to view video streams and more.

The Lorex system protects your home when there is no internet connection. If the internet goes out, you will lose remote viewing access to the system, but as long as the system has power, the cameras will continue to protect your property.

Normally priced at $799, the Lorex 4K Ultra HD 8-channel security system with eight 4K (8MP) cameras is just $499 during during the Cyber Monday sale running now through December 9 (or until it sells out). If you want a comprehensive, complete home security camera system that is compatible with smart home platforms, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of an awesome deal.

In addition to the deal for the 8-camera 4K security system with DVR, Lorex features a wide range of security cameras and systems for homes, businesses, vacation property, store security, and more. You can take 25% off sitewidefor all other Lorex products when you use the code CYBER25 at checkout until December 9.

best buy drops prices on arlo and simplisafe smart home security cameras pro 2 1

Just because Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, it doesn't mean the deals stop. Just ask our hardworking deals team if their work is done (hint, it's not). Cyber Week is here, and we've spotted some fantastic deals on the Arlo Pro 2 security cameras on both Amazon and Best Buy.

A fair bit of warning: These security cameras are not cheap. In fact, they're one of the more expensive options out there. But there's a good reason for it. The cameras function better and perform better than just about any others we've tested. The cameras connect to a base station via a completely separate network from your main Wi-Fi network. It also allows for centralized recording of your cameras thanks to two USB ports on the base station itself.

black friday 2019 nintendo switch deal lite hands on 3

Cyber Monday deals are coming to an end, but there are still a ton of great gaming deals. Video game consoles are among the most popular products during Cyber Monday, but Nintendo tends to avoid discounting the Switch hybrid gaming console during the shopping holiday, and deals that are offered do not provide massive savings when compared to its original retail price.

While the Nintendo Switch has been out for nearly three years, there are not a ton of bundles or special promotions available, either. But there is one Nintendo Switch deal worth considering if you are interested in picking up this eighth-generation gaming system. For $300, you can pick up a Nintendo Switch with neon red and neon blue Joy-Cons and a 128GB SD Cardat Target.
