Treat your phone to the charger and cables it deserves for Cyber Week

Life’s too short to use bad phone chargers and cables. Well before Apple made headlines when it stopped including a charger with iPhones, the cables and chargers you get with most phones and tablets were, with rare exception, cheap and not worthwhile. With Cyber Week deals aplenty, now’s the time to treat yourself (and your phone) to the chargers and cables you deserve.

Step one: Get a charger that can charge your phone as fast as possible — and maybe charge a second device at the same time. Many chargers that come with your phone don’t provide full-speed charging, and if they do, they aren’t the best (or most compact) designs. You can get a new charger that’s compact and charges your phone quickly. Aukey’s 30W dual-port charger has enough output to fast-charge any iPhone or Android, and has an extra USB-A port for another device — and it’s only $17.

You can also get next-level charging with Aukey’s 65W Omnia 20-port charger, which has enough power to charge a laptop, in addition to fast-charging any phone available right now — and it’s $26, 46% off.

Next up is cables. Don’t settle for that little three-foot cable with a weak coating that just gets worn out. Buy a long cable so you can easily use your phone while it’s charging, or be able to comfortably reach your nightstand from behind the bed. You can get an Anker Powerline 10-foot USB-C cable for only $13, normally $20. Or if you have an iPhone, Anker’s Powerline 10-foot Lightning cable is the same price, only $13. Or if you’re all about value for money, pick up a three-pack so you’re never stuck with a dead phone — get three Anker MFi certified iPhone cables for $19, 17% off.

Samsung Trio wireless charger

Or you can ditch the wires altogether and get yourself a new wireless charger. If you haven’t looked in a while, you’ll be surprised by the variety of designs and charging speeds available. Samsung’s Wireless Charger trio can charge up two phones and a smartwatch, and it’s 22% off — just $70. On the value side of things, you can get a two-pack of Choetech’s 10W wireless chargers — one stand, one flat — for under $19.
