The iMessage feature can be super helpful to text other Apple users, but unlike WhatsApp, you can't use iMessage to communicate with Android and Windows users. If you regularly talk to non-Apple users or if you've just switched to a non-iOS device, you might want to disable iMessage to ensure your texts are reaching the right recipient.

iPad Air (2025) vs. iPad Pro (2024)
Apple iPad Air M3 2025 vs iPad Pro M4 2024

The iPad Pro is Apple's premier tablet computer, that offers power identical to a MacBook in a more convenient and portable layout. It was announced in May last year and continues to serve as Apple's flagship iPad since then. Intriguingly though, Apple also announced an iPad Air at the same time last year with an M2 chip, and the same design was recently refurbished with M3 chips.

Superficially, both iPad models may seem very similar, especially since the iPad Air covers all the essential features from the iPad Pro, including support for the new Apple Pencil Pro, a similarly large footprint that will let you replace your laptop for most chores. Simultaneously, the $400 divide between the two devices must leave you wondering why Apple is charging extra for identical specs. The answer is complicated and more confusing than the comparison between the base iPad and the new iPad Air (2025).

What’s the best iPad screen size: should you go 11-inch or 13-inch?

The Apple iPad lineup is bigger than ever. Previously, when choosing an iPad Air, you just needed to consider storage capacity and cellular capabilities. Now, like the iPad Pro, you also get to choose between two screen sizes. I’ve received emails from readers confused about whether the 13-inch model is a better pick for watching movies. The short answer? No. A bigger iPad doesn’t necessarily mean a better screen for video consumption.

I recently switched to the 13-inch iPad Air (2025) from my 11-inch iPad Air (2020), and it made me realize that both tablets are made for different use cases. If you're confused about which screen size is right for your next iPad Air or iPad Pro, here’s a breakdown based on my experience.
