Seen plenty of hype online about the Artemis Fowl movie now being available on Disney+? If you’re super keen to see it, you can sign up for a Disney+ trial and watch it for free. There’s no risk or commitment attached, and you get to enjoy everything else that Disney+ offers for the next week, too. It’s ideal for keeping the whole family entertained this Father’s Day weekend.

Artemis Fowl is based on the book by Eoin Colfer and it follows the journey of 12-year-old genius Artemis Fowl as he finds himself embroiled in a fight against a powerful and hidden race of fairies who may be behind his father’s disappearance. A series of eight books, the movie is based on the first book with the hope for more to follow.

There’s a fantastic cast attached including Colin Farrell, Josh Gad, and Judi Dench so even if you’re not a fan of the books, there should be something to love here. It’s also directed by esteemed director Kenneth Branagh.

Ordinarily, Disney+ costs $7 per month but with a Disney+ free trial, you can enjoy the streaming service entirely for free for the first week. There’s no risk or commitment involved. Simply cancel the subscription before the 7 days are up and you won’t have to pay a dime.

Besides Artemis Fowl, there are plenty of great shows on Disney+. Every episode of The Simpsons is available along with Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian. That’s before you consider the wealth of historical Disney content which includes almost every single animated movie from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to Frozen 2. Is there an ESPN+ free trial?

The short answer is there is no ESPN+ free trial as of now. That's in contrast to most streaming services, which usually either offer a trial period (the 30-day Hulu free trial being one of the best) or a pared-down free streaming plan such as those offered by Sling TV and Peacock. ESPN offered a free trial back in 2018 when it launched its premium streaming platform, but that was sadly short-lived. If you're looking for a way to try ESPN+ for free (or at least save some money on your subscription), though, then don't give up just yet -- you have some options.

At this point, if you've never heard of Amazon Prime you're probably living under a rock because it is one of the largest ecommerce storefronts ever. But that's okay, all you need to know is that the online retailer's premium subscription comes with a boatload of great benefits and services. You might be a bit less familiar with Amazon Prime Video, though. Prime Video is Amazon's streaming service that competes with the likes of Netflix and Hulu, offering a wide variety of shows, movies, and Prime original series. There are a couple of ways to get Prime Video, but it's not free. However, if you're here, you're probably looking for an answer to the burning question: Is there an Amazon Prime Video free trial? We've got the answer, and more, below.
Is there an Amazon Prime Video free trial?
There is indeed an Amazon Prime Video free trial, but it's tied into the Prime free trial, which lasts for a month and may or may not be available to you. To see if you're eligible, you'll need to and check. The general rule is that the Prime free trial (and by extension, an Amazon Prime Video free trial) is available to Amazon accounts that have either never signed up for a Prime trial or have not had Prime -- either a trial or paid membership -- any time in the last 12 months.

The Prime free trial is usually for 30 days, similar to the Hulu free trial. If you're not eligible for the Amazon Prime Video free trial, though, then be patient: Sometimes, Amazon will sometimes offer free trials to its loyal customers, so if you have an Amazon account (but not a Prime membership) and shop on the site regularly, you might find a Prime trial offer sitting in your inbox one day. Often, though, these are shorter seven- or 14-day trials rather than the 30-day trial. Nonetheless, it's obvious that Amazon is a bit more generous with these trial periods than other services -- there's no Disney+ free trial or Netflix free trial, for example, but it's thankfully much easier to get an Amazon Prime Video free trial.
