Best Buy has the Google Pixel 3 and 4 smartphones on sale for up to $350 off

Google Pixel phones have a stellar reputation when it comes to photography. The software titan continues to put enormous effort into the hardware and software of its smartphones, resulting in exemplary camera performance. In fact, we named various Pixel 4 and Pixel 3 variants as some of the best camera phones on the market.

If you’re looking to get your hands on a smartphone that excels in photography, now’s a great time as Best Buy still slashing the prices of Pixel phones. Both the Google Pixel 4 XL and 3 XL are discounted, at $700 and $550 as their respective sale prices. These deals apply to unlocked units, which means you are not tied to any specific carrier.

The Google Pixel 4 XL offers quite a close competition with the iPhone 11 Pro in terms of camera expertise. The photos it captures have a particular type of look, including lots of contrast plus cooler and darker tones. It has also been enhanced with a Live HDR+ which shows what the photo will look like even before tapping the shutter button, but the area that notably received improvements is the Night Sight. This feature enables the camera to shoot breathtaking photos in low-light conditions. You can even point the phone at the sky and to trigger the “Astrophotography mode” and an exposure time lasting for up to 4.5 minutes will be set.

Under the hood, the Google Pixel 4 packs the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 backed by 6GB of RAM. This combo promises no trouble in loading and handling of apps, switching between tasks, and multitasking. Complementing this snappy affair is a marvelous display. The 6.3-inch screen is just the right size, and the 3,040 x 1,440-pixel resolution assures sharp details, vivid colors, and deep blacks. Multimedia consumption is further enhanced by a front-facing speaker that can fill a small room with good, undistorted sound no matter how loud the volume.

If you’ve got the cash to splash out on a solid camera phone that runs on Android, there’s no better pick than the Google Pixel 4 XL. It’s currently available on Best Buy for only $700 after a $200 discount. The Google Pixel 4 is also marked down if you prefer a smaller screen.

Another Pixel phone that fares well in the camera front is the Google Pixel 3 XL. It’s embedded with an image sensor that helps take photos with a better dynamic range. Photos are incredibly crisp and sharp in daylight and still manage to preserve detail even in low-light conditions. Other innovative camera features include the Top Shot, a function which helps preserve moments you might have missed when you tapped the shutter icon a little late; the Super Res Zoom which lessens the noise in captured photos by digitally zooming in; and the PhotoBooth which uses Google’s Clip technology to predict the best time to take a photo.

Inside the Google Pixel 3 XL is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 4GB of RAM. It’s lower compared to the high-end phones released this year, but all in all, performance is fluid. Apps launch quickly, switching between applications feels smooth, and most mobile games perform without lag.

The Pixel 3 XL also excels in the display arena, flaunting a 6.3-inch screen with a sharp pixel resolution of 2,290 x 1,440. Black levels are deep which helps colors pop out even more. You can also set the brightness to the maximum to enhance readability in direct sunlight or tone down the saturation if the colors are too vibrant for you. Matching the stunning visuals are bottom-firing speakers capable of delivering a rich sound that’s loud enough to fill a room.

With an awesome camera, a big screen, and a speedy performance under its belt, there’s no denying the greatness of the Google Pixel 3 XL. Score yours now for only $550, a far cry from its steep launch price of $900. The smaller variant Pixel 3 is on sale as well for $450, also $350 less than usual.
