Fortnite challenge guide: Collect Grimbles’ love potion from Fort Crumpet, Coral Cove, or Stealthy Stronghold

Fortnite season 5, week 11 is underway, along with a new set of challenges for you to complete. This week’s challenges are Valentine’s Day-themed and are centered around finding items around the map to assist NPCs in getting dates. One challenge you might have trouble with is collecting Grimbles’ love potion from Fort Crumpet, Coral Cove, or Stealthy Stronghold. Since this is the first stage of Grimbles’ challenges, there are no prerequisites to starting it, so you can go for it right away.

When you boot up the challenge hub from the main menu, you’ll see all three possible locations on the map, giving you a general indication of where to find these love potions. For this challenge, you only need one love potion, so we’ll guide you through where they’re located. Here’s how to collect Grimbles’ love potion from Fort Crumpet, Coral Cove, or Stealthy Stronghold in Fortnite.

In referencing the map in the image above, you’ll see all three locations: Fort Crumpet, Coral Cove, and Stealthy Stronghold. Each of these spots features one of the love potions you need for the challenge, and thankfully, you only need to collect one of them. To start, we recommend booting up a Team Rumble match so you can come back if you get taken out. Battle Royale works, too, but it’s a bit tougher since you’re out for good when you die.

Pick a game mode and head to one of the spots on the map above. We highly suggest visiting Fort Crumpet, which is the westernmost spot, as it’s the least busy of the three. Coral Cove is good, too, but we definitely don’t recommend going to Stealthy Stronghold. Below, we’ll show you the locations of all three.

The love potion in Fort Crumpet is found in the middle of the area, next to a chest. If you have Visualize Audio Effects turned on, it’s much easier to follow the sound of the chest in the center of the area. It’s on a table, so use Square on PlayStation, X on Xbox, or Y on Nintendo Switch to collect it and you’ll get credit.

You can also visit Coral Cove, to the northwest of Coral Castle by a building with a large shell for a roof. The image below shows the location of the potion.

Finally, the love potion at Stealthy Stronghold is also found in the middle of the area underneath a structure. Use the image below for reference.

Remember, you only need to collect one of the potions from any of the three locations, and once you do, you’ll earn 20,000 XP.

Fortnite OG, a limited-time mode that brought back the original island from all the way back in Season 1, is coming back to the game -- for good this time.

Epic Games announced in a post on X that Fortnite OG is "combing BACK and is here to stay" starting December 6. That means players can experience the original map and loot starting with Chapter 1, Season 1 from all the way back in 2017, when Fortnite was less of the pop culture metaverse juggernaut it is today.

Fortnite is cutting down on item FOMO with new store change
The TMNT Fortnite skins. We have all four turtles in fighting poses in front of a purple background.

Fortnite practically runs on FOMO (fear of missing out). if you don't get the item you want in a battle pass, you'll most likely never get the chance again. So if you wanted to run around as Goku and missed when the excellent skin was available? Tough luck.

But that policy is changing soon. Developer Epic Games announced in a blog post that items could be made available in the Shop 18 months after their respective battle passes expired at the least. That includes alt styles, which might also come to the Shop, along with licensed outfits you may have missed out on. This also applies to items that may have been unlocked after a battle pass launch.
