The best Motorola Edge Plus cases and covers

Motorola’s Edge Plus is one of the best smartphones Motorola has made in years, and if you buy this handsome $1,000 hunk of glass, you’ll want to make sure it’s outfitted with a proper case to protect it from harm before you take it out into the wild. We’ve found some great entries that will make it easy, safe, and comfortable to tote your new phone around in style.

Ghostek makes stylish cases that also happen to be impervious to nearly every kind of abuse you could imagine, from drops to dents and scratches. This particular number features advanced shockproof technology that doubles the impact resistance, while also boasting a hard scratch-proof back, just in case your cat happens to have a fondness for phones. The raised corners increase shock-resistance even further, while the surface material affords a secure non-slip grip. Other laudable features include a built-in kickstand, wireless charging compatibility, and raised bezels for extra screen and camera lens protection.

OtterBox is one of the most popular smartphone case brands because it’s got a well-deserved reputation for excellent drop protection. The new Symmetry Series offers three styles for the new Moto Edge Plus: Clear, clear glitter, and black, all made of polycarbonate and synthetic rubber. They have a slim profile that slips easily into your pocket and fits with any look. Raised screen bumpers help protect your display. The one-piece design is easy to slip on and off so you can remove it without damaging your phone — or your fingers. It’s a bit on the pricey side but does its job well.

Here’s possibly the most comprehensive Moto Edge Plus case you can find right now. Its main selling point is probably the 13-foot drop protection it offers, something which is achieved via the special proprietary cushioning material it uses. It also combines a durable polycarbonate outer shell with an inner layer, with this dual setup reinforcing things even further. On top of this, it has a ridged surface that enhances grip, raised bezels for camera and screen protection, and a Microban coating that significantly reduces the growth of bacteria. It’s also compatible with wireless charging, so you can’t really ask for much more.

This attractively minimalistic transparent case will preserve the Moto Edge Plus’ good looks in more ways than one. Not only does the transparency let you show off the phone’s original design, but its combination of a tough PC rear and flexible bumper edge makes for some very serious protection. It has been drop tested to a military-grade standard, so you can be sure its slimline design hasn’t come at the cost of delicacy. There are also tactile buttons to help you use the phone as normal, as well as raised lips.

If you think there’s an outside chance your Moto Edge Plus might be caught up in an explosion in the not-too-distant future, this heavy-duty case from Foluu gives the phone a better-than-zero chance of surviving. It mixes an aluminum metal bumper with a more flexible silicone material, which together offer a snug fit while also guarding the phone against more than your bog-standard variety of damage. The case also adds a built-in stand, raised bezels, and a tempered glass screen protector. It even comes with screws and a screwdriver, which, if nothing else, offers some indication of just how serious this thing is.

This clear, slim, lightweight design lets the beauty of your Moto Edge Plus phone shine through. Made of soft, clear, shatterproof TPU gel and polycarbonate materials, the Osophter absorbs shocks and impacts and protects against dust, dirt, and sharp objects. With its slender, thin design, it features extra protection with extended bumpers along the corners, which are reinforced with raised edges to avoid screen damage. It’s available in clear and smoke gray.

Motorola Razr 60 leak predicts an odd mix of good and bad news
Alleged render of Motorola Razr 60 showing its cover display.

Motorola’s upcoming clamshell-style foldable phones keep popping up in leaks. The latest one spills the beans on the whole package, including the design and its internal hardware. The entire Razr 60 kit, which might launch in the US as the Razr (2026), is a familiar affair but with a weird set of upgrades and downgrades.

The latest leak comes courtesy of XpertPick and suggests the phone will come in three color options, each with a unique surface finish on the rear shell. The Pantone Gibraltar Sea version offers a rough nylon-inspired finish, while the Pantone Lightest Sky shade comes with a bright acetate finish.
Smaller, but sturdier
The core design language remains identical to the Razr 50, but there is a notable durability upgrade this time around. The Razr 50 offered only IPX8-rated protection, while the Razr 60 will reportedly serve a stronger IP48 clearance for dust and water resistance.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion leak teases an extra camera and cool AI chops
Purported render of Motorola Edge 60 Fusion.

Motorola is the latest brand to go all-in with the ”AI on phone” trend for its 2025 lineup, following in the footsteps of big players like Google, Samsung, and nearly every other notable Chinese label. As per a fresh leak, Motorola’s upcoming Edge-series phone will be among its first non-foldable phones to offer the company’s Moto AI stack.

Leakster Evan Blass has shared what appears to be marketing images of the Moto Edge 60 Fusion. Of particular attention is the Moto AI branding on the leaked material. So far, Motorola’s AI software goodies have been exclusive to its current-gen foldable phones and the Edge 50 Ultra flagship. Moreover, it’s worth noting that the whole system is still under beta-testing phase.

Motorola has made a pink Razr with the help of Paris Hilton
A press image for the Motorola Razr Plus (2024) Paris Hilton Edition.

It’s a collaboration few saw coming, but Motorola has partnered with socialite, actress, influencer, and entrepreneur Paris Hilton to create a special edition of the Motorola Razr Plus (2024) smartphone. The limited edition model comes in an exclusive color and with a range of customizations, plus a selection of Paris-style accessories.

You’ll have guessed the color even without seeing the images, as it’s “Paris Pink.” Motorola continues to use its vegan leather material for the rear panel, and if you look closely you’ll spot Hilton’s signature on the back, along with “That’s Hot” engraved on the hinge. “Pink is not just a color. It’s an attitude,” Hilton wrote on her Instagram page in 2020, and a year later on X added, “Puppies and the color pink are two of my favorite things,” just in case you were in any doubt about why the shade was chosen.
