Apple reportedly takes on Microsoft with its own ‘Netflix for games’
Apple is reportedly in the early stages of developing its own subscription service "Netflix for games" and it will apparently be courting developers to work with the company as a publisher. Google and Microsoft already have announced their own game streaming services, with Google even offering a technical test.
‘Anthem’ demo servers are facing technical issues and players aren’t happy
The VIP demo for Anthem is available now for those subscribed to EA's membership programs and those who pre-ordered the game, but fans aren't happy with the state of the game's servers. Anthem officially releases on February 22 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and an open demo begins February 1.

The VIP demo for BioWare's Anthem kicks off on January 25, but you still have time to enter it by pre-ordering the game, or subscribing to the EA Access or Origin Access game services. An open demo period for all players will then begin on February 1, and the full game launches February 22.

Sony's Screen Gems has reportedly acquired the film rights to the Just Dance video game series from Ubisoft. Ubisoft has already brought the game Assassin's Creed to the big screen in 2016, and is also planning films based on The Division, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell.
