A 41 year old chinese gamer stabbed to death another gamer for selling his virtual sword.
Qiu Chengwei and a friend “won” their dragon saber in February and loaned it to Zhu Caoyuan. Zhu sold it for $870 US. Qiu went to the police, but was told that since the weapon was not real, it was not protected by law. Thus, Qiu went down the road of killing his friend over selling a virtual sword.
