New Plextor External HDs “Shock Proof”
Plextor's new line of external hard drives comes with a silicon jacket bumper which reportedly protects the drive from crashing if it is dropped.
Plextor today said they were making available a new family of shock proof portable hard drives. The new PX-SP product line, consisting of 80 GB (PX-SP08U) and 120 GB (PX-SP12U) models and priced at $169 and $260 respectively, are designed to work with both Windows and Mac based computers.
